sorry i was WAY behind..but that post didn't have a link and your link to the stpete times was from information given the previous day.

are you saying that tbo is not a reliable source of information?

1) The thread contains the TBO.com link.

2) The St Pete Times link was published today... not sure how to say the Trib is more or less reliable than the Times.  Both stories appeared in today's editions, one contradicts the other.

Brett's story doesn't quote any sources. Greg's story quotes Coach Leavitt.  I felt it was important for Bulls Pen readers to have both articles.

3) Your interpretation -- that a possible Denson start "just adds to the anticipation for me" is something new and that makes it worthy of a new thread.

I was pointing out that there was a short discussion of this topic already.... and the "WAY" part was supposed to be a sarcastic comment.  Sorry if you felt I was being a d*ck.

I am just excited... down to 20 hours!! WOO HOO!!

no problem.  i did not know the tbo.com link was listed in the other thread..only the st pete times.  and yes i know the st pete times is more crediable than trib (i am a mass comm grad from usf)

however, i meant that since brett's story was from Today and not printed in the paper today (all things printed in the paper are from the prior days reporting)  with the internet news stories are able to be published same day.  meaning brett could of gotten some info today and published the e-article.  either way...i would be shocked if Denson didnt start.

620, on most of their updates during the afternoon, kept saying that Denson was named starter. You'd think that would have gotten back to someone at USF and if it was incorrect, they'd have called to set them straight ....
