bball: move the best games or stay at the Dome?

Honestly why would we even want to have one big game down town.  USF is going to take the biggest games which mean the most revenue for the school and move the game some where else?  Who comes up with these ideas, if the people who live down town want to come to a bulls game let them come here.  Just like if I want to go to Chanelside there not goin to bring it to ME.  So in MHO %*&$ all thoes Davis Islanders.  If their true bulls fans then they will come to the dome.  

Plus I also think that the athletic dept is thinking in the past.  There is going to be a huge imcrease in particapation at the dome just because of the Big East jump.

Yeah, and all those years Alabama played a football game in Birmingham hurt their fan base.  Arkansas in Little Rock was always a big problem for their fan base.

Yea and all those Packer games they played in Milwaukee.  I know I said this but I will say it again.  What fans ?  There are so few I don't think it makes much difference where the games are played.  Even possibly the worst franchise in baseball history draws more the Bulls basketball.

if it costs $1 more in my season tix...no.  We don't owe the SPTF anything.  If they had other options they wouldn't even check for a conflict and how that might impact their scheduling.  I don't mind playing a game or two there otherwise.  I don't think it's a good thing for student attendance either.

It would really be tough to hurt our current fan base.  No one comes now.

I would prefer that USF play some games at the Forum during winter break because the students would be out of town. I know it wont happen like that because USF does not have any big games on the schedule during winter break. I advise USF to schedule some better teams to play during winter break, so that we can basically sell that to the downtown area. A nice Florida Four tourny at the Forum would be what I would prefer to see if we had to play some games off campus. Maybe this wont work because it makes too much sense. It is now about the $$$$ instead of the fans IMO.
