As a Red Sox fan I can understand your consternation of Yankee fans but let’s get real here.  After all the abuse the Red Sox fans have endured wouldn’t you agree that by definition they have to be the demented fans?

We'd only be demented if we were Red Sox fans, and got fed up with the whole curse thing and switch to be yankee fans just to say our team won a ws.  That would be demented...die hard sox fans may be masochistic, but not demented ;)

I used Trader as that is what we both do for a living so a little pun on words.  I will attest to LK that there are a lot of yankee fans in New England though it does not make it right.  Dont worry about either of us ever turning to the darkside and becoming USF fans as that will not happen. I remember when I was in Elementary school and a kid wore his Yankee hat to school and one of our classmates shredded it on one of those big paper cutters. Our class was reemed by the teacher though it was a grand day indeed.
