  1. If you plan on going to Mons Venus, you can basically walk to the Cigar City Brewery which has a tasting room (basically a bar).....both establishments are owned by the beloved Redner family. Cigar City also has a restuarant/bar about 20 minutes North of the Stadium in Carrollwood (just drive up Dale Mabry heading north). Younger, hip'ish, college bar scene is all along Howard Ave and all walkable from bar to bar (MacDitons is the most popular & very crowded, World of Beer is cool, The Lime - pretentious, The Lodge - packed , most of the nicer restuarants are around International Mall (Eddie V's, Ocean Prime, Ruth Chris, a couple of Brazilian meat house resturuants, bunch of nice bar/restuarants in International Mall. Sports bars: Brickhouse (very popular), Selmons by International Mall, Hooters on Hillsborough, Selmons in Carrollwood. Four Green Fields is "the" local Irish pub of Tampa, Irish 31 is pretty nice. Davis Island is quant area with a few OK restuarants/bars all walkable. Some good sushi restuarants around in South Tampa. Alot depends on what area were you are staying. Here's my plan for you.....you can thank me later: Day1: My recommendation for a big night: Do dinner at Berns Steak House (ask for a tour of the kitchen, wine cellar) on Howard and then the bar scene'ry afterwards on Howard. Finish it up with a late Visit to Mon's Venus and then head over to the Taco Bus on Hillsborough Ave (don't veer off the path to far) for some late Taco's. Day 2: Do a day at the beach, go to St. Pete Beach (down by the Hurrican Restuarant which overlooks the beach), have drinks up on the 3rd roof floor at the Hurricane and then head over to downtown St. Pete along Gulf Beach Drive and have dinner at BellaBrava or any of the restuarants in that classy/hip area that all overlooks the Bay. Day 3: If your a golfer, go golfing at World Woods "Pine Barrens" course in Brooksville or even better Black Diamond in Lecanto if you have "pull". Advice: 1) Watch were you drive - mostly at night, Tampa is has good and bad area's all mixed together. 2) Don't give $ to the pandhandlers at every intersection....they are professionals
  2. More fans than show up for our home games....I'll believe it when I see it.
  3. Just a WARNING.....that F'n site installed "Brought to you by Coupon Dropdown" (ie: superfish.com --> "Super Fish Window Shopper" ) adware on my system. It does random shopping pop coupons when I'm on Amazon, ect. Didn't even click on anything....ARGH ! Easy clean-up though with Malwarebytes, it already found it and cleaned it up. Not certain how it made it past my "protection" but I guess like they always says protection only makes it 70% safe. WARNING #2: Disregard that " I N S T A L L E D " text adware that you see in my previous post....part of the adware that the link installed. You will get adware if you click on that hot hyper link. ************ Forum leaders, please edit my previouis post and remove that I N S T A L L E D text adware. I can't edit the post anymore to remove it myself. No worries...I'm clean now.

  5. I use the "Adblock Plus" extension for Chrome to block pop-ups and it does VERY well. I BULLieve (ha ha) they also have the same for Firefox and IE. https://adblockplus.org/ Also run "Malwarebytes" (free edition for scan on demand OR the "PRO" version which runs "real time" (get this PRO version it's well worth it - can be had for $15 at NewEgg.com on sale) to make sure you don't have any adware that snuck onto your browers or computer. After you run it, delete the culprits....99% sure it will find something on your computer. Unlike a lot of malware software crap out there that finds false negatives this is legit software and run by many IT techies. Malwarebytes can be run without interfering, and is recommended, to be run in conjunction with your virus protection (recommend "free" MS Security Essentials). https://www.malwarebytes.org/?utm_source=cj&utm_medium=aff&utm_content=11125352&utm_campaign=1918371&tracking=cj Both are highly recommended, by me the expert on everything .....especially if you go to sites like this: http://xn--frstrowsp...39b.eu/football
  6. Nice...I'll be at the game tomorrow rooting for the Bulls "live", but I'll save that link.
  7. Says the guy who had $50 on Texas to beat BYU. yep I was incorrect on that, but Harlan is in his honeymoon period. I think he could turn out to be a great fit. What has he done so far? WTF could you possibly come up with at this point that he hasn't done exceptionally well? 1) Hired COA? Check. 2) Hired Kingston? Nailed it. 3) Isn't Doug? Boom. We will see how those hires work out. He also hired a coach that couldn't come to USF because he did not have a degree. We all gave Wollard credit for hiring Holtz. Because the hire lied on his resume, blame the hiring service. You guys are both leaving out one incredibly important fact, Masiello was never hired. Correct, news leaked of his hire, but he wasn't officially hired. Offer was rescinded based on the discrepancy on his resume. "....According to a source close to USF's coaching search, Bulls athletic director Mark Harlan had reached an agreement Tuesday on a five-year contract with Masiello, who would be paid more than $1 million per season. The document was signed, but it was contingent on the verification of his résumé."

  9. Thing is, it hasn't been determined yet if CWT, or Lovie for that matter, IS incorrect ... I watched Lovie coaching the Bears a painful upteen years....it's definitely true.
  10. yep, got that right! Lovie likes to line'n up and let'm play...."our guys are better than yours", no major scheming, no adjustments. Sadly, that just doesn't work anymore.
  11. Since we make every other excuse for him..... he's just learning to play with the extra 25lbs of muscle he gained. Reality - last year was an adjustment learning period and I'll give him a bad game pass for his first game this year. As long as he shows some steady improvement these next few games.
  12. O-line is MUCH better than last year. That is not saying much. I think we need a 7 foot QB that weights 400 lbs. So your saying we should have gone after this guy a few years ago and then converted him to QB ?
  13. per "Big Bird" it looks like we'll be sporting the new Green helmet w/ shiny Gold for NC State. Not sure about the helmet but still anxious to see them in person. "Green" helmet + Mike "White" jersey + "Green" pants = VICTORY 1⃣ZachBenjamin5⃣ @TheBigBird_15 · 7h Saturday ...
  14. +1 Mike always nice went out of his way to help me with my tickets.
  15. Why can't it be as simple as wanting to get his redshirt QB into the game when there's absolutely no pressure? He hasn't been able to do that with ANY QB yet. This! If a QB can't handle the pressure of playing then he shouldn't be a QB, period. Now if he's not ready with the playbook, reads, ect then that's a different story but he could at least run a limited set of plays and we all now what he's going to do the majority of time anyway....run like a Bull on fire. Like I said before, he's a playmaker so just get him out there, anywhere, in some capacity.
  16. Commission based, 1k for every touchdown the offense scores.
  17. charlie strong is changing the culture of losing - and you think Taggart is not? too many bad character kids on texas - see above mack left cupboard bare - and Holtz? keep laughing--- laugher is the best medicine -
