Golden goose.... the Big east paid us money but that conference didn't get a lot of national respect. Only the teams who won it, which we didn't. That conference had been dying a slow death since Miami, Va Tech, and Boston College left. We were late to the party and we had no leg to stand on. We never sniffed a BE title. UConn won a share of one for crying out loud. I mean honestly... we're where we need to be and actually build into something. We haven't built a thing. We have no tradition and that starts with a trophy that said you actually completed a season the best team in your conference. It's easy to trash what you've never had. TBO... I couldnt tell you who won the PAC 12 or Big 10 last year more or less the Big Sky or Conference USA. But every team in those conference knows who the CHAMP was. We can't achieve greatness without winning a championship of some kind.

Who's the only team in our conference who's never won a conference championship in football... in any conference they've ever been in. I save you time on the search... us.

We don't know if a conference championship will bring us respect because we've never won one.

I can't wait for BB season to start. We have a really good squad that I feel will make a lot of noise. I get the feeling these guys are going to shock a lot of people. So we're never really playing any of these team with a full squad, very cool... gets everyone ready.

I'm calling it... we're running the table to our first conference championship.

I thought we had a legit shot at him last year, I think he wanted to but the pressure of the P5 got to him. I think now he sees it's alright to stay home and play. Likely will do a lot better with the support structure around you.

not really... They play the same Barber was 260 laar year and Yates was 266... Barbers now 273 and Yates 271. Neither are starters and are never on the field together. Though I think Barber will develop into a really good player. I also don't think Strong wants every DT big, we're still a 3-3-5 defense.

For those who thought we'd have an undersized Dline... that's not the case at all.

In 2008 they weren't that great. But I do agree. But it happens, football is a funny thing.
