  1. If I remeber correctly, when GA posted about his commitment, they were looking at safety. If he keeps adding muscle, bulking up and once HANS gets him in the USF wieght room; he could end up at LB. Then again, I could be completely wrong about everything!
  2. You mean like Boise State? Boise State is in Boise Idaho, one of the smalles states in the country population wise, also with zero recruits locally. If Boise State was in the South East and/or Florida, they would be in either the ACC or Big 12. There's been absolutely no precedent set that winning really big is a solution and "the only way any more" to a seat at the P5 table .... unless you know something we don't ... but we may as well go ahead and do it .... couldn't hurt. So explain Rutgers. They started selling tickets after winning games and even expanded their stadium. Having AAU status helped of course. You think if Rutgers sucked they would be going where they are headed? Yes, they give the Big 10 a good tie in with the New York market, I know it's not that big of a media market, but still a nice one to have. By the way I was joking about the market, I felt with some of the people on this board I needed to add my sarcasm disclaimer.
  3. THANKS GA! I knew that this must have been the case since you're always up to date with all USF sports info, I was just making sure.
  4. Was the first scrimmage open to the media at all? If so, any idea or reports of how things went? I'm not on twitter, but I did a quick google search for GA's and it has no kind of update or info on the scrimmage. If I remember correctly there was suppose to be some sort of "depth chart" established afterwards, hopefully that is available today. FOOTBALL SEASON CAN'T GET HERE FAST ENOUGH!!!!!
  5. Yes, John Ramil is a USF grad and I believe he's chairman of the board of directors for USF. Also, if I remember correctly GA had a blog post of an email that Mr. Ramil wrote to President JG about his displeasure with CSH and the football team. http://www.forbes.com/profile/john-ramil/
  6. I couldn't agree more! Every other school that left the BE did it cause they were looking out for themselves and no one else. UConn, Cinci and USF owe the incoming schools absolutely NOTHING!
  7. My ticket price per game, in Section 114, stayed the same. The overall price increase is due to 7 home games vs 6 last season
  8. In the past, I would park in the yard of a coworker; however, he has since moved so I talked to my rep about parking pass and available lots. He told me based on my priority points, this year will make my 5th as a season ticket holder, but only 2nd in a "Bulls Club" donation section, my only option on the south side which is near my seats in SW corner is back by the Yankee spring training fields. I have a feeling being your first year as a ticket holder that your option for lots would not be much better than mine. Hope that this helps you out a little
  9.     In several interviews, CWT has said that he doesn't care about a players "star" rating from all the sites and he's going after guys that fit his system. Maybe Pasco and Dunellon High Schools don't have any players that CWT thinks fit his system.
  10. Are we even in the running for the Alexander twins? His brother took all 5 official visits and none of them were to USF. According to the article, Mackensie only took 4 and again none of them were to USF. I know that you don't have to take an official visit to commit to the school, but seems unlikely that they would commit to USF without meeting the new staff and seeing the school.
  11. I don't think CWT would bring in guys with grade issues. If I remember correctly his contract has some sort of clause about the APR. I'm going to have to go back and search GA's blog post for all the link police on here.
  12. Glad to see that higher level Bulls Club donors feel the same as me. The wife and I thought it had to do with us being in the lower tier of donation. Only difference between my non-Bulls Club season tickets and my Bulls Club season tickets was club access.
  13. I guess I am saying more access and more of a feeling of being part of something bigger then just scratching a check and going to the club level. What he said!
  14. Looks like AD Woolard is using the old philosophy of "anyone, anytime, anywhere". Someone in the athletics building needs to remind him that you use that philosophy when scheduling more difficult opponents like BCS conference schools.
  15. Home and home with ODU? What is Woolard thinking? How about scheduling a BCS school? I don't care if we have to go there every time we play, like UF, but ODU?
  16. This past season was my first in a "Bulls Club" donation section. It is the lowest level of donation, so that might have something to do with it, but other than being bombarded with emails, I got no type of "benefit" or "perk" for the donation.
  17. That's not an issue at all. There's enough game tape out there that other schools don't need to "spy" on USF.
  18. Taggart is building a big physical O-line! Not sure why a RB isn't committing, the O-line is going to be like a bunch of bull dozers out there. Can't wait to see these guys get in the strength and conditioning program and USF start imposing its will on teams.
  19. No doubt! I always thought he should have stayed at RB and was not properly utilized by the previous staff.
  20. I know that we had 20 seniors, so we have atleast that many available. However, I believe we have 25, which is the max. I could be wrong on 25 being the max.
  21. Kind of good news in that regard is that Depue is retiring ... but I do hope that there's more to the story than reported so far. Didn't Taggart say he would honor all the commits to the previous regime? If you don't plan on doing that, don't say it .... and you definitely shouldn't cut a kid loose this close to signing day unless thyere are extinuationg circumstances. Hopefully he'll be able to catch on somewhere, at any level, to get a schollie. I wasn't aware of Depue retiring, so I guess that is kinda of a good thing. I'm not too sure if it was Coach T or AD Woulard, but I definitely remember reading an article or GA bolgpost that said something about all previous offers being honored. Best of luck to Conner.
  22. Maybe Coach T got some good news from one of the 4 Star O-linemen that were visiting this weekend and decided he would rather have one of them. Not sure, but I'm not a fan of pulling an offer from guys though. Reminds me of the Holtz and Carnes situation a few years back that pissed off the coach and he said he would never send any of his players to USF.
  23. This is at least the 5th time that I've seen someone post something that Grady posted on twitter about recruiting or coaching hires. Personally, I don't give a FU#K what that kid has to say about anything USF related. Not going after you for the post tony_stark just putting in my two cents. I might feel a little differently if he was a coach of a powerhouse HS program, that could steer his players away from USF.
