  1. Holtz is a little delusional, he said in the post game press conference that, and I quote loosely, he thought the front 7 played well. He has to be joking right? 42 pass attempts 1 sack, 41 carries for 151 yards, constant 3rd and long conversion, LBs making tackles 6 yards down field. He's the one that gets paid 2 million a year, but to me that's not good front 7 play.
  2. Holtz and his band of morons, especially Fitch, sent packing!!!!! I know it's only 1 loss, but before you guys jump all over me hear me out.. Other than beating Notre Dame, what has he done? Oh and by the way, if Rees would have started and/or been put into the game at QB sooner we would have lost that game! His overall record, including Thursday night's game is 13-13 (.50 win precentage) and his BigEast record, including Thursday night's game, is 4-11 (.36 winning percentage). There are countless threads in this board about USF needing get invited to one of the "BIG 5" conferences. Aside from the Tampa media market, there is no appeal to inviting USF to join them. Yes, there is "potential", but we've been talking about USF's "potential" for YEARS! We need to stop talking about "potential" and start talking about EXPECTATIONS! I don't give a **** what conference we play in I want to see USF win! That's all anybody cares about WINS and LOSSES. Don't get me wrong, he's a very personably man and says all the right things to the fans and media, but in my opinion he has taken a program that was on it's way to up and run it into the ground by living of his father's resume. Before you guys point at that he won CUSA titles, look back at some of your posts in other threads, where a lot of you do nothing but trash the CUSA!!! So he won titles in a conference that you guys think is a joke....... The offensive play calling is baffling, say what you want about Fitch making the calls, but Skip is the HEAD COACH and can veto them. I will point this out. Let's go back to Skip's first year. Last game of the year against UConn, if USF wins and some other things go their way (i.e. WV losing, I don't quite recall what exactly needed to happen) we get the BCS Bowl bid because of tie-breakers. USF got the ball back with over a minute to go before the half and a timeout. They proceed to take knees and go into the locker room. I don't know all there is to know about football, but you CANNOT take timeouts with you to the next half. Our season was on the line and he tucked is tail between his legs and ran into the locker room like a scalded dog. Let's fast forward to Thursday night..... Tie ball game, USF gets the ball with 6:31 left in the game. We proceed to run 3 incomplete passes and a total of 21 seconds off the clock, are you F**KING KIDDING ME!! Was Fitch not paying attention that our defense couldn't have stopped a decent high school offense that night. So we punt the ball, from our 25, back to Rutgers with 6:10 to go and all they need to win is a field goal. Hey dumbass, they kicked a 52 yarder earlier in the game, so at the very least they need to only get the ball to our 35. Again, was he watching our D? Rutgers would have had no problem getting the ball there. I know that we couldn't run on them, that was obvious, but at the very least RUN SOME TIME OFF THE CLOCK YOU TOOL! Defensively it's real easy, WE CAN'T STOP ANYONE! Nevada showed the way to beat us, run up the middle and on 3rd down we will play such soft zone coverage that 3rd and long will be as easy to convert as 3rd and short. We only beat Nevada because thier D is not on the same level as what we will see in the BigEast. Nova attempted 42 passes and we had 1 sack, i will repeat that 1 sack! We supposedly have one of the best defensive lines in the BigEast??? Not really! The other 41 attempts no one was even within an arms reach of him! Holtz and Co. have done nothing to develop the talent we have. I'm not the one that says we have talent, everyone from ESPN, to yahoo sports, to cbs, to phil steele all write articles talking about the talent we have. We have tons of talent and no coaching!! Just my 2 cents, proceed to destroy my post........
  3. No doubt! Think about this seriously for a second. Do you guys want to be in a stadium full of pink flamingos, by the way our colors are GREEN & GOLD, You mean our stadium that's predominantly red? Can't do anything about the seat color, unless we build our own stadium, but that's a whole different topic.
  4. No doubt! Think about this seriously for a second. Do you guys want to be in a stadium full of pink flamingos, by the way our colors are GREEN & GOLD, where people yell "WAR FLAMINGO!" It started as a joke in 2007 WVU game and should have ended after that! To me, it's still a play on the "WAR EAGLE" at Auburn
  5. 1) USF 2) 52-14 3) Marcus Shaw 4) Andre Davis 5) 431 I think T-rex will return a punt for a TD, Floyd will get more playing time at QB than Eveld and last but not least big Mike McFarland will have a TD catch out of a goal line formation.
  6. I know that some of the comments in this thread are jokes, but shouldn't tradition be something that is unique to OUR school, not some sort of play off someone else's?
  7. USFinsiderBillM About to sit down with @UnderArmour designers and execs to look at 2013 uni design options...always an adventure pic.twitter.com/TaexIP7E I know there was already a thread started on this, so mods go ahead a move, any of you video game junkies see a difference in the NCAA 13 unis for USF
  8. I'm in the last row of 115 on the aisle between 114 and 115. Right now, I'm ROW AA SEATS 3 and 4 (3 rows down from the top of the section) on the aisle between 114 and 113, but trying to get into the last row because I stand up the whole game. I'm tired of people yelling "DOWN IN FRONT!" at me all season long.
  9. Last couple of years I have been in section 124 (south endzone); however, this year I stepped up and moved into a bulls club donation section, it's a small donation, I'm now in section 114 (southwest corner on the 10 yard line). Anyone near me?
  10. I agree the "gold" pants should at least match the gold in the helmet, not be a completely different shade. I also would like to see stripes down all 3 helmets!
  11. They can keep their little star, Twinkle, Aug 7 he'll shine like the Sun I've never been one to put too much on all the star rankings given to recruits. USF has won against teams with players that have supposedly had better players (high star rankings). No one can truly project how a player will turn out, some might play against lesser competition in high school or even not have the mental toughness to be away from home and manage school and football. I do know one thing, everyone that has seen Asiantii in person have all raved about his big time arm and his high ceiling. I could care less if he is a 1 star recruit, he wants to play for my alma mater, USF, and I couldn't be more excited that he wants to come to Tampa and do big things for our school! I don't have any kids myself, but I was grinning from ear to ear when I heard that Asiantii won the Elite 11 MVP, I coud only imagine the excitement at the Woulard household. From your new USF family to the whole Woulard family, CONGRATS!!! I can't wait to see him in the GREEN AND GOLD!!!!!!
  12. They're probably trying to clear out all of last season's gear and make room for this season's stuff (new designs etc.) That stuff should start rolling in near the end of July to beginning of August, but what do I know.
  13. We can speculate and quote unnamed sources from different sites all day long, truth of the matter is NO ONE knows how it's going to pan out. There is one thing we can all be sure of though, the "BIG 5" conferences, as ESPN has dubbed them, WILL NOT let us (and by us I mean every team in the country that aren't in those 5 conferences) sit at the "grown-up" table and make anywhere near the money that they will. We can bring up the stats/numbers of the ACC's record in BCS games, but it's obvious stats/numbers are not playing a roll in the realignment talks and playoff system talks. The powers that be at all the schools and conference commissioners think the BE is a garbage conference. BE teams could go undeafeted against other AQ teams and it still wouldn't matter.
  14. Uh, Glad to hear it. Don't forget that it is USF 1, FSU 0. No doubt DataBull, I was Tally for that. I actually got my tickets through and FSU season ticket holder I know. I had a perfect view of the "GREEN AND GOLD CORNER" I'm not sure what the exact number of tickets USF sold for that game, but we had to be at least 20,000 strong. I would imagine that would be the same amount of FSU fans in Ray Jay this year, on problem is: Doak - 83,000 RJS - 65,000
  15. Mama_Bull, Can you post some of the names that you saw were attending SB this weekend? I don't have a twitter or facebook account, so links to those do me no good. Thanks
  16. The Mickey Mouse newspaper doesn't include USF's APR results.....typical for them! Get their butts whipped on the field so the way around it, for them, is to pretend that we don't exist.
  17. That was Giddens holding the bull trophy at the end of the video
  18. You could also add`Mike McFarland and Terrence Mitchell to that list as other 4-star players. And on the defensive side of the ball the last couple of years we got: DT - Elkino Watson DT - Todd Chandler CB - Chris Bivins (might have been a 3 star on some sites and a 4 star on others) DE - Tevin Mims (Texas and JUCO transfer) DE - Aaron Lynch (Notre Dame transfer) 5 star
  19. My coworker and I, both of us are season ticket holders, recieved an email saying that season ticket holders that renewed by a certain date were going to recieve a chance to buy tickets to the FSU game before they go onsale to the general public. I might have misread this email, but did any of the other season ticket holders on this site get this email too? Currently searching my inbox for the email.............
  20. UF was never going to return to Tampa. It was for 2 pay games there. Next one is scheduled for 2015, or something like that. AHHH! Gotcha, my bad!
  21. We could add UF to that list of OOC games, but they don't want to honor the original agreement of a return game in Tampa! FSU is men of thier word, what's up with the gators? I might be wrong and that return game was suppose to be scheduled next year 2013 and not 2012.
  22. Look at all the stadium and facility upgrades that other sports teams at USF have recieved. If and when an OCS happens, there is no doubt in my mind that USF will not throw together an POS stadium (UCF, FIU etc..)
