What does the "i" stand for in UCiF?

Say what you want about Leavitt's coaching ability and abuse of power, but there's no questioning that he was a great recruiter. Just look at all the NFL-level talent he brought to USF.

Haven't you been paying attention? We just lost to McNeese St...and this is what you are complaining about? Aren't we growing tired of losing games, period?

There's no way they can expect people to show up for the games if the game on Saturday is indicative of what kind of product they are going to put on the field.

Amazing all the NFL-caliber players Leavitt brought to USF. Not only did Holtz waste all the talent he inherited, he also failed to recruit top level players and couldn't get a quality QB.

What I meant was the group itself, not how they performed. I wonder where the Rays draw the line for which groups they invite? For instance, would they let a group from the Church of Scientology sing the national anthem?

For those of you who attended the game on Saturday, what did you think of the group they had sing the national anthem?

My sources have informed me that USF will not have an OCS in foreseeable future.

It's going to take a lot of work for Coach T to build the program back up after all the damage Skip did.

USF should follow the Orlando school's model for an OCS.

If you build it, they will come... ...at least for the first year and then attendance will decrease just like it does for every other sports team in Tampa Bay.

Having a registry is just the sort of thing a cornball brother would do.

Having cowbells at the game is a horrible idea. It makes the fanbase seem like backwater, country bumpkin, hicks. Is that how you want your alma mater potrayed? I cringe at all those who bring cowbells to the Trop. I like the throwback idea, though.

In the the long run it won't matter if they move the team to Tampa (or anywhere else in the state) or build a new stadium in St. Pete. The sad reality is that Florida sports teams don't get the support that teams in most other cities enjoy. Just look at the "Miami" Marlins. Before they had a team everyone said the Cubans love baseball so surely they would go to the games, but even after two World Series runs their attendance remained awful. Then a new stadium was the answer, but it didn't even take 1 full season till we stated to see thousands of empty seats on a regular basis. Most of the people who whine about the Rays poor attendance and say Tropicana Field is a dump are the same people who don't care about the team; don't go to the games now and will not go even if they get a new stadium. That greedy $&@# Sternberg wants the city to build him a new stadium so he stirs up controversy complaining he's not making any money. Don't be fooled by the BS, the Rays are worth over twice the amount he paid 9 years ago and they still continue to make money even with poor attendance. Don't let them swindle you like that c@nt Loria did to the taxpayers of Miami.

This is only the second year they have been eligible. Usf has been to the tourney only once since joining the Big East. Amazing how a small school like FGCU has guys that can score while USF can barely put up 40 against the likes of Seton Hall.
