  1. Prado is toast. When Bull Daly can't say something positive, you need to update your resume.
  2. This reminds me of the game "The Oregon Trail." I hope no one dies of Typhoid. Everyone in my party would constantly die of dysentery. I couldn't stop it. My Super Bowl parties are the same way.
  3. I think thats a hard question to answer. Unless it was specifically written into the contract, you're dealing with a handshake agreement on the level of involvement with his hires. But technically speaking, don't the two of them have to sign off on every hire?
  4. http://www.tampabay.com/blogs/bulls/content/baseball-coach-prado-gets-new-deal-through-2014
  5. Fact: No one who likes Star Trek over Star Wars has EVER needed Valtrex.
  6. Dude. I used to like you (as much as one man can like another man he's never actually met but sometimes engages in internet banter with). But this?!?
  7. Anyone who's ever touched a basketball at least considers the idea of going to Kentucky. Getting them to consider USF is going to show what kind of a recruiter he is.
  8. At the spring game, my 3 year old son wanted to know where the "moose" went when Rocky wandered off.
  9. Stan was very close friends with this kid and was very close to Josh as well. So that was just as likely to happen as it is for OA to get him. One call doesen't mean he will sign But that goes completely against the original post. I'm confused. "So far Coach O is proving that all the praise that he has been getting Nation Wide is well deserved and his reputation as a GREAT RECRUITER is proving to be true."
  10. Never occurred to me to look, but it also didn't stand out or I'd remember it now.
  11. It's a bit amateur that they weren't already installed before now.
  12. Ditto on the lying. If a class short, maybe, but 10 credit hours that he never finished that summer after walking? Deliberate deceit, easy to let go. 10 hours appears to be conjecture. I don't think anyone who really knows, is actually speaking out... If only Masiello would set the record straight with all the details. Hmmmmm. Then what would happen?
  13. CT won more football BE championships than Rutgers. On the field, across several sports, UCONN is by far the better athletic school. Further proof that it is more about off the field factors than on-field success. Proof? Please elaborate on this proof thing you guys keeping using in your arguments on this site. I don't get it.
  14. When I was wrapping up my master's and still had to take my comp exams, USF gave me the option of "graduating" in Spring or Summer.
  15. USF Weak is when your conference wins a nat'l championship in basketball and a BCS bowl in football, and you can't brag because you finished last in both sports.
  16. I don't remember any particular instances, but didn't our football coach blame the players this past season? When CWT does it, it's ok. Like saying he likes the effort.
  17. I don't have a problem with him singling out a player and saying he's young and still learning. But a loss is still a loss.
  18. I would take a top 25 coach over a top 25 recruiting class every time.
  19. 2/5ths of that top 25 class took a red shirt. And lets be real, there's a big difference between the top 25 class we pulled in and getting 6 of the top 25 high school kids in the country. And 3/5 of that class lost to Detroit, who's 2013 class was unranked since it fell outside of the top 179. And for comparison, here are the last 3 years of recruiting (using 24/7's composite numbers. 2010 doesn't work right on the site) for a couple schools who did ok this year. Manhattan 69, unranked, 93 Wichita State 95, unranked, unranked
  20. Well, I know what a top 25 class is capable of on its own with not to good coaching, so I'm going to say coaching beats recruiting.
