    The Beefs on campus is poorly run and not ideal for watch parties. All the TVs are too high so you have to strain your neck, and they rarely have the big projector screen going unless you call the day before and ask if they're showing the USF game on it. Throw in slow service and higher prices, plus no beer before 5:00, just not a good combo. Not just slow service, but poor slow service. I've been there many times and can count on one hand the number of times I had good service. My favorite was the time I ordered a basket of nuclear wings and had to endure the heat without water because the waitress kept forgetting to grab it.

    Bull-By-Marriage and I are going to catch the Nevada game at the USF Hooters before the soccer game tomorrow. Is anyone interested in joining us and heading over to Corbett afterwards? If you're interested, let me know and we'll try to get enough space for all of us.

    Redemption is a great place to watch the game. Its not a very large crowd, but you will be surrounded by Bulls fans. The Subway line closest to the bar was closed when I went, so I don't remember exactly how far or what line it was. I believe it was pretty close to the bar. From Hoboken, you can get to the 34th street station by taking the PATH. Its the last stop in Manhattan before the train turns around. From 34th, you should be able to board the train that will take you to Redemption. Someone who lives in NYC may be able to give you better instructions. K-Rock, you there?

    While a loss sucks, I'm not too upset over it. Unless you play in a lesser conference (New Mexico), you are not going to go undefeated in college soccer. Them playing last night set us up for an upset. The wet field likely made the two sides more of equals than would have been the case otherwise. If the same ref that did the early game ran ours, then there was some terrible officiating as well. I felt bad for those Iona guys because I can see exactly what their coaches see from my seats. With that said, the Iona team that I saw last night didn't look very good. Our guys should be able to get out there and get a convincing win.

    USCe is here through Saturday. However, both teams have a game on Saturday. Getting the extra rest is preferred by both coaches, I'm sure.

    They're going to be playing in front of very few people... USF Men's Soccer â€@USFMSoccer WE WILL PLAY SOCCER!!! Kick between USF and South Carolina will be at 10:55 p.m. approximately.

    5 minutes into warmups the game was postponed again. Based on the rain and lightning I saw on my drive home, I think this game will be postponed to another day.

    They just announced a 9:20 start for game 2. Ill probably stay for the first half of that game.

    Watch party somewhere for those of us heading to soccer afterwards? I don't think there's a large selection of places for us to find a hi-def broadcast near USF... Maybe Lee Roy Selmons in New Tampa?

    I noticed the same issue when I tried to pick it up in 126. The signal is VERY weak. I got better service off my verizon 3G We probably shared the same router. It could be better in other places around the stadium.

    I tried signing in before they even announced it at the game and had trouble connecting. I took it as the network being overused. Did anyone have better luck?

    I don't think so. Maybe swimming back in the day? In order for us to move to 1st, we need to have a strong weekend and hope for VaTech to get the win against UNC. VaTech was 1 of 2 teams to beat UNC last year.

    It seems that there are many TBP users around me in my new section. What better way is there to let other members of the board that you are one of them than by having a inflatable flamingo? Bulliever, I think you should create an affiliate link for the inflatable flamingo to promote this happening.

    Just got off of the phone with John. The email hasn't gone out to season ticket holders yet. It will go out this afternoon. Next week, athletics is going to send an email to those that renewed their tickets after the 4/30 deadline to purchase their tickets. If any tickets are left at that point, they will either go on sale to the public or will be made available to new season ticket holders. With that said, me getting a couple tickets for my buddy isn't looking likely. Does anyone have a couple tickets that they are looking to sell for the FSU game? He's interested in attending the game, but does not want to pay the crazy prices that can currently be found on StubHub. Please send me a message if you are able to help out.

    Thought the promotion was just for renewing STHs? It was. I spoke to John Lewis who told me that I would have a shot at getting some after the renewing STH's found out about their tickets. I'm calling him later today to try to get a couple before public sale.

    Yes to the blanket. Not sure about outside food/drink. Parking is free in the lot next to the stadium or next to the athletics building. $6 for general admission which would allow you to sit on the berm or most other seats in the stadium.

    I hope you all get the extra tickets you requested. That would mean that first time STH's like me will have a shot at getting a couple.

    I haven't received a response from McGillis on this. Have you heard anything from anyone? I received the following response from Bill regarding an on-campus watch party. I'd love to attend this! Perfect chance to enjoy a Saturday on campus and get some points by going to soccer after. I don't know why they don't do watch parties on campus for every game! Have it at Beef's or just set up a projection by the book store, they was the original plans for that area anyways. Watching games there was part of the original plan? I thought that it was specifically for movies on the lawn.

    I had my first game in 125 this past weekend. While it was different from the student section, it was the best place for a non-student to find the atmosphere that most closely resembles the student section. I found myself sitting around a lot of young alumni and young families. Just remember to sit down if you come into the section

    I think your son will be fine. There will be less incoming freshmen than number of beds. Freshmen get priority when it comes to housing.

    2-1 win for our Bulls! Some notes: 1 goal for Alterio 1 goal (PK) and 1 assist for Baldin The Tulsa goal was from 45 yards out! Hosseini received a red card in the 89th minute... The boys are coming back home to play USCe this Thursday at 7:30
