  1. Joe Kinnan? I know things didn't start out too good between the two of them.
  2. I think it's pretty obvious Doug Woolard is incapable of getting the program to the next level. Are you talking about the football program? That's not Woolard's job. His job is to hire a coach to take the program to the next level. Giving Skip an extension was a mistake, but what else has Doug done wrong? His successes out-weigh his failures. What are his successes and how are they weighted compared to the football program? Without a good football program producing revenue for non-revenue sports where is all of athletics? As to your question of what has Doug done wrong...He killed the goose that laid the golden egg and hired a coach that lays an egg. There was a lot of support for giving Leavitt the boot, even before slapgate. You have to please the boosters. Holtz came in with a good record. Two conference titles. Does Doug have a crystal ball that tells him whether or not a coach is going to succeed? Basketball is another program that is able to generate revenue for the athletics department. With the renovations of the Sun Dome and the construction of the Muma Center, we are receiving a lot more interest from top recruits. Can you give reasons for firing Woolard other than Skip not performing the way he should?

  4. They all need to go! Seriously? This university doesn't revolve around football. Judy has done a great job in her time here. Outside of giving Skip the extension, what did Doug do wrong? Everyone thought that the Skip hire was a good one at the time.
  5. He could live in the spaceship above 2001 Odyssey
  6. But that's not Skip's system. Give him a couple more years to get a team FULL of his players and we will be fine.
  7. That doesn't explain his huge drop-off this season.
  8. But men's soccer just won their first game of conference play! You may now continue moping.
  9. The deadline for selling physical tickets on there is approaching quickly. The price of those tickets will drop.
  10. They are supposed to be good at running the ball. That's pretty much all I've learned.
  11. That's a tough sell with the football game going on at the same time. As it is, I expect most students to show up late to the game.
  12. Didn't you pay 150 for the season for that seat? I understand that the FSU game is high demand, but a single ticket for those 4 games in that section will probably sell closer to 120. Just my two cents. Best of luck!
  13. Still only available to renewing season ticket holders and not new season ticket holders...
  14. Depending on the conference schedule, this will likely be my road trip for next year.
  15. They were kneeling on the ball...the game was over...completely classless move. We'll blame it on him being a rookie coach but I do t know. The game wasn't over. If the Bucs get a fumble recovery there, they had a shot to tie the score. Like I said, if it were 9 points or more of a difference, I'd lay off too. There was 7 seconds left in the game, right? I'm pretty sure that everyone assumed the game was over at that point. What if one of NYG's players was injured on the play? What would you say if that were to happen? There's a reason why its called the victory formation.
  16. I came here to post about this. Very Schiano-like.
  17. This isn't the same team that played against Michigan. We looked the way Akron currently looks when we played Michigan.
  18. They don't seem that bad, but I'm sure I'd be complaining if it were being done to USF... These commentators are Akron employees, so they're going to have the bias. They aren't expected to be neutral. 0-1 at the half. USF looks much better since that first goal was scored against them.
  19. Beautiful shot by Thurierre from outside the penalty box. The Akron keeper needed quick reflexes for that one. Still 0-1, but the shot was worth a mention.
  20. I think I saw that Akron was ranked 7th. Not sure why it says no SOG. Didn't see the goal because the feed froze at a bad time... Akron has control of this game. The guys are starting to put it together midway through this first half.
  21. The game is starting now. Here is the stream: http://www.mac-sports.com/Schools/Akron/LiveStreaming.aspx Live stats: http://livestats.prestosports.com/akron/
  22. Lol Maybe you never see it because you aren't watching him play. Lanaris is terrible on passing plays, but he is of great value against the run.
  23. Wouldn't you expect Bethune Cookman to draw more fans since its an in state school?
  24. Ball State -- W FSU -- W Temple -- W Louisville -- W Cuse -- W UCONN -- W Miami -- W Cinci -- W Pitt -- W Never let it be said I'm not an optimist. You forgot something: Orange Bowl v FSU -- W
