Bardstown Road in generally has some really awesome spots when it comes to food choices. I think it's the place to be in Louisville.

Drinking in KY is fine if you stay in Louisville. It's when you venture into the smaller towns that things get wonky (read: Campbellsville, etc). I like Bardstown Road for food and drinks. A friend of mine has a restaurant up there and it's surrounded by great competitors. What is the name of the place? We fly in on a Thursday night and will be going out once we land. Usually go to Bourbons Bistro but could be persuaded to try something new if the Bourbon flights and/or selection is good. Roux Louisville http://www.rouxlouisville.com/ If you go, ask for the co-owner Kyle Staggers and tell him that Ryan S. from USF sent you -- they'll make sure your food is especially good. He's a Bull himself, so you're supporting good people.
