I am thinking the Uconn and/or ECU game may get relegated to the purgatory called ESPN3. Of course just wait until you see the new new tv contract that shows 1/3 of games on ESPN+.

So she goes to games...

No problems with your first point. No they are not unstoppable on offense but because of their uniqueness, it does require some concern...especially relative to our weakness (at times in stopping the run). I have not seen anything yet to warrant our defense as anything but average but hopefully CCS will up their game this week (which more than possible relative to our defensive success last year). Yes, if the opportunity to score is there we need to take over playing for time of possession but, mark my words, if we cannot ride we have no chance of winning this game. Point two: not saying Getting only eight possessions is going to happen, but with any team running the option there is always a chance that could happen. But, my point was if the defense is still having trouble stopping the runs down the middle, tech can slow the game down considerably. I am not taking USF to win in this game, but I am sure hoping that I am wrong wrong wrong. If we get three turnovers we will win.

All I can say is that I have one source from the athletics department (I sound like The NY Times ). But seriously there have been run ins in the past relative to budgets and program goals. Yes, she is st the games and supports the students who are participating. My comments are more institutional. Again, from what I understand she tolerates but does not go all in. Personally, I understand that as we need to be academics first and foremost. But makes me wonder if we could be a little more from the athletic side.

I was just thinking about when we went to Chapel Hill and played NC. It was just an ordinary game that we won...didn’t even think much of it. Now, we would all be sitting here talking like it is the super bowl...it really sucks how times have changed for the worst.

That is so funny how everything is regionalized. When I hear Thunderstruck I think of our local minor league hockey team. My team, the NY Rangers changes their intro song every year so I can’t grt a consistent vibe. Of course in the NHL the one unique aspect each team has is their own “goal” song...many of which I like.

Judy is not the biggest fan of USF athletics. She tolerates it but is not all in. At the end of the day she did not want our brand to be based on the athletic logo which is far superior than anything an agency could come up with.

Still, that does not make me how I felt after that loss. For Bulls fans it is irrelevant if another team had a worse loss...

I posted on Sunday this point. It is possible we get only 2 offensive series each quarter. This will be especially true if GT converts on 3rd or 4th down. This game will be won or lost based on our D getting a few 3 and outs and GT giving us 2 turnovers. There were times last year and even last Saturday (at times) when the D could not get off the field. Got to stop the 3rd down conversion. Once the offense gets the ball I have no problem with short passes and running plays to give our D a rest. Yes, if/when the GT defense starts to cover tight and moves their LBs in closer we can throw the long medium pass, but this should be the exception not the rule.

Personally I would rather have dedicated season ticket holders crowd the side seats for TV purposes. I doubt if the players care one way or the other as they usually like to run over to the students section anyway. But as a fan I can see why you and others would like to be there as the players run out.

I wonder how many NFL teams use this song now? The Pats started it about 20 years and now I have heard it at least with six different nfl teams.

Would love to see some ball control drives on Saturday to give D a rest and GT offense off the field.

Well at this point in my life all I am really involved with USF is the Athletics so I won’t be seeing much of this logo...as Carl said in Caddyshack “so I got that going for me...which is nice.”

As a part time UGA fan, I am hoping for the double beatdown...
