  1. Oregon's rise can directly be attributed to money. They got really lucky with their #1 alumni
  2. Asiantii Woulard â€@Asiantii_2 Broken fibula & chipped pieces around my ankle, but I'm good just an obstacle. To much real pain in the world to stress over this
  3. I've been watching USC v Oregon. Holy crap Oregon is amazing to watch
  4. Its happening again. Holy crap. They actually stopped it. Two picks in one game? Who is this team?
  5. There is more parody in basketball though. They play 30+ games if I remember correctly (I don't follow cbb all that well). Plus they play the tournament games. You will get lower seeded teams or unknown teams in the S 16 or E 8 or even the F 4 because if a team gets hot at the right time and things fall their way, they can win a few games in a row. Football simply can't have a giant tournament for obvious reasons. Its too violent and it would take its toll on the teams. There can also be lower ranked or small schools that can compete from time to time in football especially if they have a good coach. TCU and Boise immediately come to mind. You can tell that those two teams will be able to compete with the big boys. The problem is that 80-85% of the teams in NCAA D1 Football could not hang with the big boys. A perfect example would be Houston last year. If they had won their last game and gone to the BCS they would of been destroyed. When the best team you are playing has 7 or 8 wins at most and the rest of the teams are .500 or sub .500, you are more than likely not going to compete on the big stage. Rankings may be "stupid" but they obviously have some precedence. USC may have lost a few games this year, but they are still one of the best teams in the NCAA. They would be able to beat or hang with anyone. Not being able to see that is just being ignorant. Sometimes teams just don't justify the talent or fall short of expectations (see USF)
  6. I don't buy strength of schedule bullcrap. The players can only win the games they are given. If my team wins every game they did the best they could possibly do, so why should they get punished because their athletic department couldn't pay UF enough to play them? Screw that. Undefeated Big East team should be in the NC game all day over a one loss SEC, because the Big East team did their job. The SEC team didn't. Now, does that put the best two teams in the National Championship game? Hell no. But if that upsets you, make a **** playoff system. Problem solved. Until then, you can't screw over a team that goes out there and does the best they can possibly do. No they shouldn't. No it's not their fault that they didn't face any worthy opponents, but when teams like Florida, Oregon, Kansas State, LSU, Alabama, Georgia etc....are playing top 25 and top 15 teams for more than half of their schedule, they are showing that they are elite. Houston last year didn't play a single top 25 team until their championship game and they crapped the bed. They would of been killed in a BCS bowl. Remember Hawaii in the 08 Sugar bowl? Went undefeated and they were killed by Georgia. TCU and Boise St have shown that they can hang with the big boys year in and year out plus they play difficult games. These other teams just don't.
  7. Has a team in D1 football ever not intercepted a single ball all year?
  8. Aren't these most of his players at this point?
  9. If those teams had Bonani as their kicker they may have won 10 games once or twice. God I miss watching a fast defense, an electric qb, and an offense that was actually fun to watch. How did the Bulls get the ball inside the 20 yd line so many times and not score? I guess Alvarado was worse than I even remember and I remember him being awful
  10. I'd rather have an assistant from a big time successful school like an Alabama DC or LSU DC. Someone that knows what it takes to create a winning culture and has had success on the biggest stages
  11. This team has no nasty streak. That's the issue. The whole team is soft and has no swagger what so ever. Watch Oregon, Alabama, LSU whoever. They bring it every weekend. They look like they are having fun. Our team? Looks like a bunch of old people running to their 4 o clock meal. They are incredibly boring and have no heart.
  12. Didn't this same situation occur in the Ball St or Nevada game where BJ went out for a play, and we called a run up the middle or something with Floyd. People were complaining about that too. I could be wrong but I seem to remember that happening. This time we call a pass and he gets destroyed from his blind side.
  13. he was hired well after his first recruiting season. so have you heard of a guy named Asiantii Woulard? Just the MVP of the Elite 11 this year. will be our Starting QB as a true freshman next year. If he even wants to sign with us after watching that disaster
  14. BJ's best play...Throw it right at the CB, deflect off hands, get to our wr.
  15. If we're going to suck, at least try to be exciting. Stop this dink and dunk garbage
