    Strange. Apparently Bama fans like him a lot. I just don't get why guy would want to leave Bama after being there 2 years already and he's one year away from being the starter most likely for one of the top teams.

    Isn't Kloss just a big leg and nothing more? Ah never mind. He was the number 8 kicker coming out of high school. I guess if Kloss shows that he can kick, we will red shirt this guy?

    I've been waiting for this for years. A team with some swagger. Sorry to use an annoying word, but I get that sense from this class that this team isn't going to roll over, and die like Holtz led teams. They're going to have fun. They will have that fire that JL had, but they will also have the discipline needed to win big.

    Yes and yes. We are going to be a run first team so the qb is going to need to protect the ball and have good accuracy. I think if both qb's are close to each other White will come out on top. Eveld isn't going to take us anywhere. If Eveld shows marked improvement this spring then he may win the job for now. But really if White shows that he can be a competent qb from the get go, then why not start him. Give him 4 years of starting.

    That was an unweighted 3.6 GPA, if that matters ... Depends. If he was in something like the IB program or a magnet program then maybe but even then it's hard. AP classes and Honors classes wouldn't cut it with that kind of GPA. Someone close to me was in the IB program at St Pete High, had a 3.5+ gpa and a SAT over 1200. She didn't get into UNC/Columbia/Duke. Only the top person from her graduating class of IB seniors got into an Ivy League (Columbia). Some of them went to Stanford, but you get my point.

    A 1050 SAT will not get you into an Ivy League school. Not even close. Also a 3.6 GPA will not get you into an Ivy League school unless your parents/grandparents went there and you have money

    Don't the players have input of the uniforms? I like the white. Still think we need black uniforms. I think Under Armour designs them and the players/athletic department yays or nays them

I think he means 3 assistants with the Bucs will have gone back to the college ranks. Ron Turner to FIU, Ron Cooper to USF and not sure who the third is. PJ Fleck. The Bucs Wr coach went to Western Kentucky to be the head coach ---------------------------------- Minor tweak, Fleck went to Western Michigan, Petrino is at Western Kentucky. Yea thanks. I got the two schools confused and didn't want to really look into it

    His dad said the same thing about Tennessee too. It's getting old really. Either come here or don't. Stop telling us what you're going to do publicly every 2 minutes and keep changing it. Seems like the Elite 11 thing is getting to his head.

    You mean the Floyd that fumbled half the snaps he took this year? Evald will be number one on the depth chart to start the spring but I can easily see Mike White or AW passing everyone. Freshman qb's can be alright

    I don't know much about either qb other than what I've read but to me it seems that White would be an AJ McCarron type. More of a game manager that knows how to win, with good accuracy. Asiantii coulld be a BJ Daniels, or EJ Manuel type qb. Good speed and arm, but accuracy and decision making are still question marks. A consistent winner with a lower ceiling vs a qb with great potential but a sloppy skill set at the moment.

    Say Asantii doesn't come here, does anyone see Mike White grabbing the starting spot since we're going to be a run heavy team anyway? Floyd looked lost last year and Evald is a wild card really. Sometimes having a winner at QB is important and that's what he is. I'm definitely hoping for Asantii. If he comes I can see us going anywhere from .500 to 9 or 10 wins.

    Why do people feel the need to insult him? Does it make you feel better? It's certainly not doing us any favors. So why do it? Any little thing could push him to or away from us. So why do people feel the need to insult a young man that could very well give us a good qb for the next few years. Are you so secure in our qb situation that any player that isn't 100% committed right away should go away? Give me a break. Support any player that wants to join our team especially while we are down

    I think he can take any coaching job he wants, but UNC won't have to pay him anymore if he does and he seems hell-bent on making UNC pay fully for what he considered to be an unjust termination. Ok yea I knew it was something like that. Forgot it was that he just wouldn't get paid. I know he can take any job. I just couldn't remember the reason he wouldn't take an actually coaching job

    Butch Davis is not coming here either. With all his recruiting violations and his contract that he had at NC. I don't think he is allowed to coach in the pro's or college without paying some outrageous fee to North Carolina because it would violate his contract or something of that nature. Same reason he isn't actually coaching for the Bucs. He is just an advisor
