    i never felt the game was in jeopardy, but we pulled off the accelerator way too soon. And our D gave up too many late plays. Navy played like they thought they could come back.

    I'll tell you what we almost witnessed-- an epic collapse. If that game had gone another five minutes, I think we would have lost. Taggart can't be satisfied with this victory. One good half of football, then another half of piss poor performance.

    I also wanted to play football in high school. My dad (a former high school football player) was all for it. My mom refused. Today I'm thankful she didn't let me play. I enjoy watching football but it's hard for me to watch players risk their livelihood in such a dangerous game. The game has to evolve. There are more and more mothers who will prevent their sons from playing this sport and there will be a diminishment in talent in the game. Kids will opt to play basketball, soccer, or even golf. This is an existential problem for the game and I fear the game is just one high profile player on the field death away from being doomed.

    All of the ESPN streams do this. Even if you get commercials you'll see the same ones over and over again. The streaming ad revenues are a different source than regular TV ads.

    Nice to finally have depth at QB. I really like his throwing mechanics and that he also has some wheels.
