    As much as I think Strong is overrated and not the coach for this team, I don't think he's going anywhere. Ole Miss was his best shot at leaving IMO. Arkansas a wild card maybe but I doubt it. I also doubt that Strong will be taking a DC job at any P5 school. That is a demotion.

    Since I can't get access to the UCF forums....do UCF fans REALLY think Frost won't bolt them for Nebraska thyis year? Are they that delusional?

    6-2, 7-1, 6-2 and nothing to show for it.

    Tough yes. But they will have a new coaching staff and losing some good seniors, no way they are the same team next year. We all saw first hand this year what happens under new coaches.

    I also think Memphis may lose their coach. Won’t directly effect us next year, but could mean wins for our division teams who play them.

    Conference wise, at Houston, at Tulsa, at an improved Temple will be our toughest games.

    Next year outlook assuming Strong stays: UCF-Frost gone, likely will take a step back. ECU/Cincinnati/Uconn-all still rebuilding. ECU needs a new coaching staff. Uconn played better as the season went on. Temple may be tough again. 2nd year coach in place, they improved as the season went on (they beat navy) and may finish this year bowl eligible. This year was their rebuilding year. We play Houston and Tulsa in the road. Will be tough. I think we could go at least 6-2 in conference again.

    I’m sure it is. But Ole Miss will be the one calling to him.

    Here’s the funny thing. Even if they play a major program at the NY6, they likely don’t have Frost coaching that one. We may never know this real ucf team.

    The blogs usually have a hint of truth in them though. One thing about rumors in the college football world, they usually turn out correct.

    Lol yeah. I am serving 14 years in the military and go to USF games once in a while despite the travel (2004 grad by the way) but I’m a ucf fan like you say.

    He won’t get canned, but a P5 school may nav him, which is ok IMO. He isn’t a good coach.

    Good coaches adjust to the skill sets they have!

    I really have no confidence even if he has who he wants. If he can’t adjust to the skill set he has now.....he isn’t a good coach
