Been watching since the walden era too and Collins is by our best all around player since IMO. Dojo might be somewhat nba talent but ac will be a better all around college ball player. He would be #1 recruiting tool

I would partially disagree. He likes a slow it down, keep in close, play good defense style (sounds a lot like Holtz except without the good defense). I believe some of his (Heath) past players would have liked to get up and down the court a little more quickly. I agree with Ricky. I'm not sure exactly ...think 2 years ago...but we had a bunch of athletic ballers and we ran this half court offense where we threw the ball to each other u til the shot clock went to 5 then forced a shot. We were bad and the few fans paying attention were extremely and rightfully concerned. Heath figured out an insane defensive and rebounding approach last year which won us games. Wasn't pretty but winning is beautiful. Again, I would like to see him Improve our offense, but out of rebounding, defense and offense...offense is the least important. Did I tell you guys how much I like Anthony Collins ?

The teams in the early 90's were pretty good. I can only really go 1997-present but I've heard they were good. Still don't think they were known. I never heard anything about usf bball until I attended. Times are changing

Heath had some bad years...a year where his players and style were far from the same page. Might be one of the best turnarounds I have seen. Still would like to see him run a better offense. Who says it can't happen with skip.? Heath didn't save usf basketball because there never has been usf basketball. He could be possibly inventing it. Co starring anythony Collins

Funny how this board and all of its defenders, even the ones with the biggest green goggles on, are all crying to fire Skip Holtz but when members called to fire Robert McCullum who ran our basketball program 50 feet under the doormat they were scolded. When usf turns into a respectable basketball program just know most of you used to not care.
