  1. Spolestra is in way over his head. He's gone Like a hall of famer said the clets are an Nba team and the heat are a glorified AAU team
  2. Dozen I like the Mobb reference , sick nba playoff preview for spurs. Tupac was a back up dancer in Digital underground, from new jersey and repped the west coast. Enough said.
  3. Why? I saw it happen vs Dallas last year when it counted. Was I wrong last year when I said the heat wouldn't win a ring ? Spurs could possibly sweep the whole playoffs. Wrong again. Dallas made half their threes in the finals last year, and to their credit, exploited the gaps along the perimeter against Miami's defensive rotations. Miami's FG% was average in that series. You were right though, they lost when it counted most and Miami got beat by JJ Barea and Jason Terry drilling shots from 25 feet out. Nobody saw that coming but you. Haha what did I say wrong besides sSpurs "could possibly" sweep ? did I not see it vs Dallas ? Was I wrong when I said they didn't get a ring ? What are u talking about ? Thanks for explaining how they lost. No one and I mean no one cares how you lose. You forgot to mention in your biased, no one but you thibks argument...that Lebron played like an average player that series.
  4. I give Woolard a C+ I agree w Smazza, he's done some good things but nothing great.
  5. I don't see how the basketball team success is tied directly to the facility upgrade. In my opinion it comes from the recruiting and play of Anthony Collins, who will end up being the most valuable (not best) basketball player usf has ever had. The savior.

  7. I was wrong one time, I thought pacers would win. Oh well. I'll be watching the nba championship this week, thunder vs spurs. The east is and has been a joke for a long time.
  8. I honestly thought he was the weakest link in our starting five last year. He is way too soft. If he can play overseas, doesn't say much for the talent over there.
  9. He had such a promising early career. I know this board hates when someone calls iit like they see it, but seen him out a few times in Tampa, seems to be more into the fast life than the nfl life. Not surprised he has regressed.
  10. Team is falling apart, wade getting in spolestras face is a bad sign. You think any spur would get in Popovichs face? Heat lose this series and are exposed for a team with some names who really isn't that good of a TEAM. Spurs would sweep them. Spolestra fired, Lebron still not a winner . Bosh is terrible. Wade turned into a clown who cries for every call like his buddy. Glad to see their chances are next to none. Not one ring, not 2, not 3 or 5....I guess he meant zero.
  11. Okc is too deep and just as athletic as the heat, spurs are too good and lakers are too big. Miami wins nothing again but the east again, real tough. 26 seconds left Lebrun passes to battier,, gets ball back and passes to wade. The greatest player in the universe, just not when it counts, so what's the point ?
  12. He has risen .... True story, the bball team was doing so well during a stretch where I didn't have access to the site I felt it was a superstition to stay off.
  13. No chance manning and broncos get further than where they got last year. Rebuilding with an ancient qb, hope he plays d too
  14. The regular season "chosen one" will turn into the post season Frozen One when it counts again. Not clutch at all
  15. i think Urban Meyer is holding out on the OSU deal to wait to see what Skip does.
  16. LOL ... Why should anyone mention that NOW? Like snarling said, he's been gone 2 years and I don't believe was mentioned on this thread ... until someone with a super crush on MG brought him up. Why? Thats simple: anyone who ever tries to defend BJ Daniels on this board ABSOLUTELY needs to know that the same arguments that are currently being used AGAINST BJ were being used to SUPPORT MG 3 years ago. What you can't get through your thick, obsessed skull is that there were people on BOTH sides of the Grothe fence back then just like there are people on BOTH sides of the Daniels fence NOW. It's what happens on message boards ... The fact that you can't let Grothe go, bringing him up in this thread for absolutely no reason other than obsessiveness, is just as disturbing as your choice of avatars. Shockingly I am on the side of the fence that both of them were not and are not going to win us anything meaningful. Both have been awful in conference play and closing seasons. Matt Grothe can be known as the man who gave USF it's most popular identity (spoken about during pre game on our national televised programs) Win a few games and get a bunch of hype, then blowing it badly while closing out a season. BJ and the D is going to reinforce it.
  17. Bulldozer, i know its hard but it just seems the only drop back qb we ever had was chad barnhardt and that was in 1998. i just want to attempt to find a pocket qb.
  18. Hey while you're at the whole prediction thing, can you look into your crystal ball and let me know what age I'll be able to retire? Would be really nice to know exactly how much I should be socking away for that date, instead of trying to guess for the next 30 years. If you can do that, I'd be grateful. Thanks in advance. you must be a new usf fan.
  19. Bull Dozer, this year we will just continue to run the same predictable offense, because its not hard to tell defenses are not threatened by BJs arm. BJ is good, one of our best weapons we have on offense but if i were to gameplan against him and usf i'd do it just like Pitt. Spy a man on him and blitz from all over, he and or the receiver will nto burn you. we will have a very similar season to what we have been having the last 5 years. meaningless bowl game and a lot of excuses and justifying. I know people go towards dual threats, but with grothe and now daniels we do the same thing. i also agree with you, i have no idea why we went away from the run game...from the running backs.
  20. We moved the ball well in the first half and when we had to become one dimensional our OL couldn't stop any blitz. Can hardly blame Daniels for having to run for his life. youre missing his point. he is running for his life becaue they can put so many guys in the box because we have no downfield pass threat. I dont blame it all on BJ but like i said earlier id much rather have a gunslinger than BJ. Not only are we not missing his point, you didn't even get the point right. His point was not about the lack of a downfield pass threat, but that BJ isn't a good enough QB to throw downfield and that bj daniels arm is not strong enough to throw over 15+ yards. He's wrong on both counts, in my opinion. Again, I chalk it up to an emotional response from a disappointed fan and the fact that BJ is an easy target for criticism based on past performance. The former is fair, the latter isn't. Just an FYI.... I had the same opinion after Clemson, after ND, after Balls State, after FAMU, after UTEP, and now after Pitt. I am not saying that BJ cannot throw the ball that far, but rather he cannot throw the ball that far with much accuracy. How many receivers have we hit "in stride" ever? So, what do we do about this? recruit a QB that is a traditional gunslinger. tired of seeing usf's best offensive plays being the qb running the ball.
  21. BJ, like Grothe is a scrambling play maker. Not accurate, not throwing for 3rd and longs, not leading receivers. everything is yard after catch on soft screens, short routes, etc. i just want a rivers at nc state, persa at northwester-type qb one time at usf.
  22. we do not have a downfield pass threat or defense. 3rd and 12 we have a better chance of BJ running for it than making a 15 yard strike over the middle. i am not wrong.
  24. Its not BJ's fault and I like BJ, but Id much rather a conventional pocket QB that can accurately air it out.
  25. i personally do not care. I just like how serious some people can take off the cuff comments. to me almost every sport nowadays is soft. I grew up playing the traditional sports of basketball and baseball and neither were rough. I also studied full contact martial arts for about 10 years and I would rather get hit on a punt return, knocked to the floor mid air with a hard foul or beaned with a baseball over taking a round kick to the side of my head by someone trained to hit.
