He was never REALLY given the opportunity to beat out Sanchez ... in practice, maybe so, but he seemed to always turn it up a notch in real games. They never gave him the chance. Crying shame. He deserved better. Agreed .. Most jets fans I know, including muself, wanted Tebow in those games.

He had the choice.. Sparano sold him on how much they would use him in the wildcat and he'd have a shot to start. Plus the spotlight of ny or the league basement of jax..easy choice. But when you can't beat out mark sanchez I don't think it would've worked out in jax either.

I've been to some of the more adored MLB stadiums around the country, and I don't think the Trop is horrendous. I think its location rather than the amenities hurt it more. I could not disagree with you more. I dont mind the location living in south tampa but It's an awful atmosphere for a baseball game. It feels like you are in a library, it's a weird drunk feeling...You can't be loud or cheer because youll be judged or looked at in disgust. I love going to baseball games and only go to about 5-7 rays games a year. Most other places I might have season tix. It's straight boring in there. I'm a fan of/root for the rays , too. Sports illustrated or espn magazine did an article a year or so back where they ranked MLB stadiums and the trop came in dead last. No surprise to me.

I've never been on twitter, I hear what Brett does constantly all over espn. Which to everyone In The world, minus a few disgruntled usf fans, is the world wide leader in sports. Not even close Guy is destroying his profession..it's ok to admit it.

It's a good deal for both teams, but your wrong abut thinking no way it can turn out bad for the Bucs. Revis is the best and he and his agents know it. I don't know how he could but I can see him wanted a re structure in the future...good thing is Bucs can just cut him without losing anything if he doesmt show up to camp ..but the picks ..but he could be a headache. Everything I read about this trade was it was going to be a 1st and a 3rd..never 2 first rounders. Hold up was Bucs wanted to give up their next year first round pick. Personally as a jets fan I hate to see revis go but I love this deal. He's been a pain since day 1. Jets weren't signing him and now get a top pick and a 3rd rounder , which is valuable. If I were a season ticket holder I'd be pissed. Revis , wright , Barron and Gholston. Pretty big upgrades from last year for the Bucs. I may go to some games this year if I can find a ticket. Fart
