I dont know much about Willie T but that he was an up and coming coach but I do know leavitt and 100 other coaches wouldn't let anyone, yet alone McDonalds state or whoever hang 50 plus on him w out a fight. I watched the game on DVr this am so forgive the late rant ...I'm sure i haven't been the only one. It's almost like we make decisions by taking blind folded monkeys and have them throw darts at a dartboard and choose where it lands and pray it will work. Where is the direction of this school? where are the educated decisions? ive kept quiet lately , not wanting to judge on things i felt were wrong but wanted to hope (hope and change right? hows that working )? alnd even pray, against all my intuition, this might work but deep down knowing it wouldn't. and all it took was one game vs a school i couldn't tell you what state they were in to confirm my thoughts. Meanwhile Bobby Petrino hangs 487 yards and 35 pts at WKU vs Kentucky. That's who we should have hired. But that would make too much sense. Doug Woolard must have dirt on someone at USF, how that smiling moron is still employed is a joke. Willie T it's not your fault I'd take a high paying job I wasn't qualified for too. No one cares about your opinion on this team or conference. Ironically, this is the reason im not upset at such a pessimistic, and uneducated response. But he's absolutely right. No one outside of usf or whatever the conference we play in cares.

Where was I defending the Giants?

A team who hasn't won a Super Bowl in the last 8 years is considered "elite" ? a team that has won 12+ games in 7 of the last 10 seasons? 5 of the last 12 SuperBowls, including 2 seasons ago? played in 7 of the past 12 AFC conference championship games, including 3 of the last 5? what do u consider elite? cuz by any metric no other team is even close. the fact that the Giants' measuring stick for "greatness" is beating the Patriots only reinforces how great a team they are. Again, how many Super Bowl rings in the last 8 years ? Zero. A team to be considered elite right now, better win at least 2 of the last five...at least. Very good football team who is very far from elite. I bet belicheck agrees with me. so an elite team has to win 2 of the last 5 superbowls? LOL. i guess the only elite team in the NFL right now are the Giants, who struggle to make the playoffs every year, who didnt make the playoffs last year, and probably will miss them again this year. get real. homers will pull criteria out of their arse to convince themselves that the ONLY elite team is THEIR team. fact is, the Patriots put themselves in the hunt for a SB title every year, and have either been to the SB or to the Conference championship more than any other team in recent memory. that's elite. to insist there is only ONE elite team in the league, and that that team is one who didnt even make the playoffs last season is sheer homer idiocy. I'm not a Giants fan. There are no elite teams in the NFL right now. Pats haven't won a Super Bowl in 8 years bro, it's not even a discussion.
