Guy has walked as many guys in as many innings he has pitched and he feels he shouldnt be booed. Not the kind of attitude you want your closer to have. Oh and he carries a 5.89 ERA... What a soft POS. You get paid millions (6 a year to be exact) to not do that.
The Mets offered him a similar contract than the Rays in the off season and he elected to go to Tampa. Smart move by him , lucky move by the Mets and bad one by the Rays. He wouldve cried after about 5 innings up there.
"Fans can boo me and all that (stuff), but that's fine," he told the Tampa Bay Times. "It's not going to help me out, it's not going to help the team out if they sit there and do that. You see the fans behind you and everyone's behind you, the crowd, the whole nine yards, (stuff) is going to go right. You start pulling that (stuff), it's not a good vibe. The fans have got to be pulling for the team."
