Just like many others on here,I know our program well enough to know that after the first half we couldnt stop their offense and this was not going to be pretty.Add that to the fact we couldnt stop UTC or Nevada or Rutgers and you get people declaring after a half of football. If you didn't come to the real world sooner than Im truly sorry that it took you that long to figure it out. Look, were not idiots because we expected to be better, expected to see progress and are voicing our opinions.

ill take mark stoops, or kirby smart, or any of the up and coming coaches. We can find a quality coach.

oh its embarassing alright...I called it...I took off my green and gold goggles. I know we need to seee change. Its getting out of control.

bj threw a pick earlier before half but your right bj played well and our offense could have score more but they moved pretty easily up the field. Gobulls83..your have to be realistic here. We have a very badly coached team. We have very good offensive weapons and saw a glimpse of what they can do when the proper plays are called and our guys get the ball in space but what does it prove against a weak mac defense. We need to play a style of play against tougher opponents. Our coach has established a weak mindset with our players. He coddles them and doesnt put any real blame on them. Everything is going to be alrigth mentality isnt cutting it. We are sinking fast and we have virtually no respect from an outsiders perspective and our fanbase is rapidly vanishing. We need to right this ship. We need a serious change in mentality or regime. Which would you prefer? The current course of action is not working and your green and gold goggles is getting old. We love the team as much as you but we are BAD right now and its mostly coaching.

get over it..people are dissapointed the same **** is happening. It seems our team was more physical, and more dynamic under a coach who we considered not good enough to take us to the next level. its starting to seem Leavitt really was a good coach but we gotta see some changes or expect alot of the same.

Lmao ESPN was clowning us. Look at the defense playing so far back and all you gotta do is pass it to him. Its so obvious to anyone watching. Every defense we play knows our wr's can and will get behind them. Every coach we play also knows our wr's run mostly deep routes and if you blitz him well then there is no time for those routes. We are an embarassing offense. Look to be able to march down the field and score easily against ball st. Look for our defense to be embarrassed and hopefully hold us to a high scoring game.

HE IS ATROCIOUS, I have been saying it. Our LB's play pretty far back and they are constantly out of position. We need to do what rutgers does and put tons of guys near the line of scrimmage and make it confusing for the qb. Not knowing where its coming from and creating a sense of uncertainty to a offense instead of being so laid back and vanilla. Me personally, Im okay with getting beat deep every once in awhile. Im okay giving up big plays gambling but when you gamble it gives you a chance to get it right. If you get it right you get turnovers and tackles for a loss. We use to have corners who gambled. We had safeties who ran across the field to go with our lb's who found themselves in the right spot more times than not.

lmao. I knew it. This will be one of the toughest games of the year if they play like they have been. Its silly to keep assuming our team is better and face the music. We take it game by game. If we win. SUPER. if we dont..were one more loss closer to change.

these are the types of answers that just dont fly. You cannot honestly be the head coach of a d1 respectable program and say something like. We tried that and it didnt work vs nevada. This is embarassing.

Nothing wrong with playing close games and losing. Its how you play when you lose. I played baseball for this universtiy and have a tattoo on my left arm for this school. I bleed this school. I want the best for the football players and I knew alot of them. I went to every game and almost every other sporting event offered that I could. I can't accept playing this poorly with the talent we have. I cannot accept the lack of coaching going on. We are not playing the type of close game you want. Albama, LSU usually play a low scoring game with lots of quality defense where a few plays decide the game. Long drives well executed plays make or break you. The big east isnt neccessarily known for this type of play. We are known for beating up on each other and playing sloppy. So when people turned on ESPN and watched us, people I told to watch the game, call me after and say wow you guys look terrible. When I read through the board and know the recruits coming in and how much talent we have. We have heard so much about players in camp and Dunkley is not a factor. Lamar was going to be redshirted and Price hasnt been used. Mcfarland is useless size because our TE's dont do anything. We wont have an 1,000 yard reciever or RB. We wont bench a player who is clearly hurting our defense in Lanaris. He is slow and cant cover and we currently struggle in this department. He should be out on pass downs and theres not enough coaching going on. I'm tired of being let down. So im just being realistic now. I say these things not being serious but I really am lowering my expectations.

CJL could not have taken us any further. We needed a change. Holtz has some huge upsides and has done alot for the morale of our university and the media. Unfortunately, I thought we were getting an x's and o's coach who was going to outcoach our opponents. It is a huge deal guys. Schiano outcoaches every year. Its not because they have better players. Brian Kelly outcoached us every year. Its not because they had better players. They were put in offenses and defenses that put them in a position to succeed. There is so much more that could be done to improve the players we have and we need a coach who can get the most out of its players. Im not expecting it to happen out of this regime because frankly it hasn't happened yet and the sample size has been big enough IMO. I'm not saying he needs to be fired but I wouldnt be upset if it happened. Im just lowering my expectations and if we win ill be thrilled but I will no longer expect to win these games.

Id hate to call an effective and well designed play gadget plays. Gadget plays sound more like trick plays. We shouldnt need gadget plays. We should have plently of well designed plays in our playbook designed to beat whatever defense we face. The coaches make ALOT of money to do this.

When a team is less talented, or equally as talented and one of the two teams beats you more frequently it is coaching. They have our number is a cop out and an excuse for a coach or player or fan. We got outcoached in the Rutger game and our Coordinators sounded like idiots in their post game interviews. I'd like to see more coaching being done. We can move on no question. I will move on but the key word you ended with was improve. Will we see an improvement? What is your definition of improvement? I think we all have different ones and we have not improved in three years. The stats would say we regressed. Tough pill to swallow.

People are getting frustrated with the lack of coaching. We thought we had a lack of coaching with CJL,..its true we probably did. He did not get the most out of his players but he was tough and it rubbed off on his players. I was one who wanted an upgrade from CJL. I thought holtz was more of a FOOTBALL coach. An x's and o's guy. He seemed to assemble a staff and we were all pretty positive. Our offense has shown that it is simply non productive in every aspect. There is no scheme that is making defenses scared. They are scared of BJ Daniels running and thats all we hear about. I can be as negitive as I want on here noone is going to make me feel bad by commenting on negitivity. I still love the program, the athletes and understand they still are collegiate athletes but this is not where we should be heading. I'm not happy with the production on either side of the ball. Guys Penn st struggled the first two games in learning a LEGITIMATE OFFENSIVE GAME PLAN and plays. I watched their games and I said to myself this team is hardly as talented as our team. They were making tons of mistakes but even with the mistakes I said to myself. This coach is amazing. They will get it right. They are being put in a position to suceed with this offense and its only a matter of time before it clicks. What about what we do on offense or defense gives you that idea? Why can't we do the complicated things RU does on defense? Does it look like our offense was difficult to teach? The plays were running? Guys we are nowhere near where we should be. BJ Daniels can make enough passes to win us games if he has plays designed to get guys open in space. One thing we did more of with grothe and I still didnt like hitting guys standing still was we had way more recievers SITTING down into coverages and finding space to catch. Granted our yards after catch wasnt that good but we were better and he was able to make those passes. BJ can do the same exact thing I swear. We are failing on so many levels.

usf should join the fshaa conference if we end this season as poorly as it looks we will.

Pitt slaughtered us last year. Our defense sucks. Its safe to say Pitt had a rough start. Its not safe to say USF is having a rough start. Why is it not safe to say such a thing? Because even in our wins USF gives up huge yardage. We are not good. We don't deserve to count the pitt game as a win. You called them terrible. That is monumentally stupid. You sir, because I predicted a loss to PITT, called them terrible and tried to throw it in my face that I must not watch college football because if I had I would know pitt is terrible. Keep digging yourself out of the hole of stupidity your in. I win. haha

The coaches basically showed they could not figure out the defense, or make adjustments. This season doesn't take a turn without a change in gameplanning. We have yet to see it. So why expect it now?

How exactly is our defense good? What aspect? The d-line? Where is the pressure? The secondary? How can they cover if the qb has enough time? We have two LEGIT LB'S on the outside and 2 quality safeties. Other than that we are really not a good defense. We have proven that. We are a bad defense until we start being creative. It looks like our defense makes it easier on opposing offenses. We stop conservative offenses. Which is why I thought we could beat FSU that year because we still had a good defense and they were a conservative offense. This year we will be blown out by the 2nd half.
