    May just be me but I think he's not played well overall the past 3 games. He's scored but his ball handling has been suspect and not getting to the basket.

    Exactly. I'm one of the more negative Nellys on this board but, dang, I'm happy with this season.

    The NBA had some rules back in the day to penalize teams for excessive fouling. One was, when in the penalty, the shooter got 3 chances to make 2 on a shooting foul. 2nd foul in the last 2 minutes of a game (maybe 1/2) resulted of putting a team in the penalty. That rule may still be on the books but don't watch enough NBA games to know for sure. They stopped the 3 to make 2 to speed up the game.

    I'm not clear how all this works but it seems that instead of losing to CMU, Mass and whomever, had we lost by 40 to Duke, Kentucky and UNC we'd be in the tournament?
