Oh I totally agree. He needs to hit Cali hard. If he thinks he is going to succeed with FL recruits, he'll be looking for a job as an OC in three years.
Come on... Your confusing talent with performance. Do our top 5 matchup well with theirs? Absolutely. How about after that? Do you think we have a more TALENTED O-Line? On paper, they have a more talented team. Thankfully, football isn't played on paper.
I get hired by company X from company Y. My success depends on the people who work for me. If there are people at company Y that may help me succeed at company X, than I'm offering them a job. This is pretty much every sector in the real world.
USF had a better offense than Oregon, but I wouldn't say we were more talented. USF has a better QB and RB, but we don't have as much talent as Oregon. Other P5 schools? Absolutely.
Totally fine with what Taggart is doing. Stinks, but I'm ok with it. Now with that said, if Tags thinks he is going to succeed at Oregon by "stealing" recruits from USF, he'll be looking for a new job in 3 yrs.
I understand what you are saying. I thought Leavitt would coach until he retired here. Things have been pretty rough USF wise since that firing. This past season was the bump we needed though. There is light at the end of the tunnel, everybody just needs to get onboard.
Not true. Everybody knows if we bring back Leavitt, we'll get back into the BE and then the SEC and be the bestest school and we will all live happily ever after.
