  1. Yes - here's the quote from the e-mail. With approximately 7 weeks before the home opener against Towson on Saturday, September 3rd at 7:00pm, we want to ensure that we have your correct mailing address on file prior to shipping your season tickets in early-to-mid August.
  2. Just wait - we won't be talking about how big they are after we see them as much as the HD clarity.
  3. 1. Second Helmet 2. Every year 3. 2005 #9 Louisville game is beat out by WVU 2007 only because of the sellout/Friday night primetime atmosphere and the fact that all of Tampa Bay was on board at this time. 4. JPP 5. Memphis
  4. More to the topic of this post http://www.tampabay.com/blogs/bulls/taggart-bulls-will-embrace-preseason-acclaim/2280729
  5. If you get there as early as you say, it shouldn't be an issue, but if you look at the map, you will see that Lot 6 doesn't necessarily get you closer to the stadium than day-of-game parking in Lot 7P. It is a comfort though knowing that if you happen to run late, there will be a spot waiting for you. And almost always, you will then be allowed to park in any of the lots (even those that may require an additional donation amount) since the folks that direct you where to park have already been let go. Since you asked about extra space to tailgate, I've often purchased an extra pass that allows us to have an empty space next to us for more room. I think it's more of a benefit to those that get there really early as you most likely will be parking next to others that plan on staying in the lot to tailgate. Unfortunately with the changes made to the tickets and parking last year, I'm now limited to only two parking passes and one of those I give to a fellow season ticket holder so we no longer have the extra space. Last year we were very fortunate that it seemed like there were always cars next to us with people who parked and walked immediately to the stadium or somewhere else.
  6. http://tampabay.sbnation.com/usf-bulls-news/2012/10/12/3493708/usf-bulls-board-of-trustees-football-call-out Was that what you remember?
  7. Call your rep. By working with him and not buying my 8 tickets on line saved me $76 in 10% on line fees.
  8. Bought eight extra in 208 for $95 each. I believe I read an article recently in the Tampa Bay Times that after May 30th, the prices for the upper level seats will be starting at $85. $10 more for the lower bowl west side and club access in September is a bargain! My friends will be thanking me for this opportunity!
  9. When you do, contact me and I'll be glad to invite you to our tailgate. I did six years as an electrician on submarines before getting out and getting my electrical engineering degree at USF. Not sure if they still do this but you may want to look into the VA work study program. It was a great way to make tax-free money working on campus with flexible hours between classes (I worked in Admissions). Good luck!
  10. Friend of mine sent me this photo of J Winston at the game sporting a Bulls shirt.
  11. Bumping this back to the top to remind anyone interested in watching it tonight on ESPN2.
  12. I was told that Row T is what is known as the "Drip Line." I spent my first year in Row U last season and enjoyed it. For whatever reason, I don't like the overhang being as close to my head as it is in the upper rows, so I put my priority on getting the shade for noon games while being as close to the field as I could get. I figure if it rains and if the breeze is moving in a direction that pushes it up a row or two, I can get my money's worth out of the club! I think you'll be happy with your seats.
  13. Yes - I actually was speaking of the follow up and not the original question (I thought I grabbed both that one and yours but messed up). But I might be a little put off too if someone starts a thread, I ask a question and later they come back and reply to another post and ignored (or perhaps missed) mine. At a minimum, I would ask it again in case they came back. Do you realize just how many times we could respond with "pick up the phone and call someone?" with all the posts here? Also, I hate that this conversation is in any way dealing with John because he's been my rep since the first season and think he's been great over the years. But I now see that you were dealing with a reputation of Ned's, so another reminder to me to stay out of others' disputes! Go Bulls!
  14. You do realize that John was the one who came here and started this thread, right? His job is obviously tied to season tickets or he wouldn't come by here to remind us. What's the harm with someone asking him a question after he posts? Especially after John has already come back and respond to another post on this HIS thread? I didn't see Ned demanding an immediate response, so the whole "beck and call to cater to your whims" and "get up off your duff" comments was a little over the top.
  15. But what's stopping someone who didn't attend USF from establishing a Bulls Club account? I'm sure if I was a Seminole fan living here, I would have no problem paying $300 for two season tickets to see my team play here versus spending the gas or flight money along with possibly a hotel to see them in Tally. So I put my deposit down, have a Bulls Club account created, and next year don't renew - pretty simple. I'm sorry, but I will bet you plenty of FSU fans and corporations right here will be buying season tickets this year. What I'm really hoping for though, is that there are enough new BULLS fans that buy tickets to fill up the emptiness that is now the East side of the stadium after the mass exodus to the West last year. I thought the emptiness looked bad on TV, but a large number of garnet shirts will look so much worse...
  16. How do you know this? I do not recall ever having to declare my allegiance to USF when calling in to order tickets. And I certainlly don't when calling other schools.
  17. Help me understand the draw for these commemerative tickets. I'm not trying to be a Debbie-downer, but I got mine and it almost looks like one of those laminated game schedule bookmarks to me. I honestly think the actual bowl game ticket I got for the game looks better and would be more valuable. If I had to choose between the two to get autographed and placed in a case, it would be the actual game ticket - not the commerative one. Do these really have collector's value like trading cards or something? I thought that maybe they were more for people that didn't get to go to the game, but only those that went got them, correct? Again, I hope I'm writing this in a way that conveys my ignorance of the excitement about these and my desire to understand better. I do appreciate the thought and effort to get these out to us.
  18. If the new one is as clear as the one at Marlins Park, it will be amazing.
  19. Whew! So he wasn't arrested for anything right?
  20. Looking forward to watching the game Monday night. As good as they've been, I believe they're going to play better down the stretch.
