  1. Welcome. You definitely will be smiling come saturday night if our Oline doesn't get its act together. It should be a good game!
  2. Similar to Ryne Giddens. I remember him playing WKU in 09 and then medical redshirting after that game or soon thereafter.
  3. I saw him line up while BJ was QBing as well. Unfortunately BJ was running for his life most the night. I expected more from the Oline, hopefully this will get fixed ASAP.
  4. At least he wont get asked 30 times for a Lynch waiver update.
  5. Oh no, last time I joined in on the chat was during lunch at work, ended up stuck hrs late at work, couldn't pull myself away. May have to convince myself to just read the transcript.
  6. Nope, he hasn't changed it. Out of curiosity, If they were to offer him, I wonder if he'd flip since they are his favorite school? Maybe he doesn't use facebook much.... or maybe he would flip. I hope not. He does look a little foolish having the Gators listed as his favorite team and as I fan I am disappointed. Really makes me wonder how he feels about USF. Yea I agree, I doubt he goes on there much, seems more of a twitter fan. I wonder if he even realizes that it is still up there, when you go to your own wall, would you even see that without selecting some submenu?
  7. Don't get your hopes up, because we weren't even in his top 5 favorites. I'm not sure that wasn't all a stage play. I'm still waiting to see the 3rd act. Remember his quote was Miami- Sanctionville Notre Dame- Losing almost as many players as FL Vandy- will win their usual 4 games. Clemson- who knows, really don't think they were really ever in the running Florida- as discussed above. I have always thought the whole wrap up of VHIII's recruiting was unusual. The Whirlwind tour. Over the top comments about Oregon, USC, OSU and UL none of which even made the stated "top 5". Nothing would shock me about the end of this recruitment, nothing. Maybe a February Surprise? This would be great news, yet stupid for VHIII to do a switch on NSD. I mean, if he committed to USF now as opposed to later, him and woulard could really help to solidify this class. Anyway, I think if USF wins the BE and the conference settles down (such as tv contact), then we have a shot to sway him. UF doing poorly could help as well of course.
  8. I see other site, I think Scout, has USF has low with other schools in medium. I wonder if he will ever make a visit to USF.
  9. I think he went to FSU in December 10. Early graduate. Spring ball with FSU in 11, while his class mates were still in high school. Went to ND and redshirted this past football season as a true fresh. He sat out his true freshmen year like all of our redshirt freshmen that haven't done anything at the college level yet. When you said true freshman, I thought you were implying he played. I would just call him a redshirt freshman. Lynch played as a true freshman while Prestwood redshirted during the required transfer sitout period. He will now have to sit out another year if he comes to USF. I would gladly take him, but he has yet to do anything at the college level because he keeps on transferring. I think he went to FSU in December 10. Early graduate. I do see the last person he started following was Skip Holtz, assuming the first person listed is the most recent follow. That's a very positive sign. Could be, but still not sold on him. Even though he was highly touted out of HS, he has done nothing at the next level, but perhaps he just needed a change of scenery and is worth the scholly. I doubt I could play for Brian Kelly, jus sayin. Love it! This photo should be enough for a hardship waiver.

He was a true frosh, at Notre Dame, on the OL. What did you want him to do? I thought he committed to FSU in 2011, then transferred to ND a few months later and had to sit last season out? He was slated to be the #2 LT, but based on the transfer I think he has yet to play a down of college ball? He is not proven at next level and constantly transferring, just some concern.

  13. Neither would I. He does seem to have UCF on his mind, so maybe it's between the two of us. i'll take my chances there. If he really wants to go there I think he should, but it really isn't the same game. It might depend pn whether he wants to be at the same school with his GF. She is going there. Do we have her major? Funny, when I looked four days ago she had this: Virginia Bochy @VBochy UCF 2016 Orlando · http://pinterest.com/vbochy/ Now, the UCF part seems to be missing. LOL I clicked on the pinterest link. Based on her profile pic, I can understand why Jordan doesn't want to be in BFE Indiana at ND. Hardship waiver granted!
  14. They did pick him as MVP however looking at the film to me outside looking in nothing was shown to justify it. I just wanted it to be evident to viewers it appeared they pick him MVP but wanted ti showcase certain qbs in particular This is precisely what i thought knowing that he was already named MVP.... I figured they would highlight and showcase what he can do and why he earned the title... but instead it was a 2 hour documentary on the hackenbergs and stantons... they didnt show us WHY he won it.... imho thats horrible editing/programing. I think they tried to have equality with the screen time each QB got, but AW did get the extra rep on the 2 minute drill at least with full screen time. I was shocked that the redzone drill wasn't captured and not much from day 4 for AW. I think this is when AWs stock really shot up, I remember reading tweets about the bullets he was throwing into a strong headwind (although this may have been day 3, cant recall now). Anyway, my biggest issue with the show was all the time wasted with the "suspense" of the daily elite 11 rankings and constant player interview tie ins, not that I didn't love all the screen time AW got. The actual football time on screen was probably around 25%, when it should have been 75% IMO. The editing and filming was quite hard to watch, with the screen constantly flickering between a 5 sec pass and then a 20 sec player interview tie in, back to a pass, more interview. Plus on the pass plays the cameramen were all over the place, reminds me of me with a video camera as a child. I agree, they should of had more AW to help viewers fully visualize why MVP. I got the bulk of my "visuals" by following tweets during E11. AW was the sole reason I watched, and despite my issues with the editing, it was still worth the 2 hours to get to see what I did of him.
  15. so no more posting in this thread until the big news?
  16. Yes... Tyler Moore is a done deal unless the world apocalypse happens. The sky is falling the sky is falling Yea, it sounds like daddy Moore ended that one.
  17. I agree, both will play. Price definitely needs to play, he will likely be the key TE come 2013, need to get him ready.
  18. I told my work many months ago I could travel during the work week of September 10-14 to teach a class. The class has been scheduled. Subsequently the Rutgers game was rescheduled to Thursday night. I am now stuck in Kansas City having to watch the game on TV. I should be fine for the rest of the games, including a trip to the miami game.
  19. I think we can stop worrying about the "other" QB. FSU doesn't obsess about kids that pick USF, I think we are a strong enough program not worry about little brother catching up to us. +1
  20. Of all the QB's ESPN has rated, the's tied for 10th with another "Pocket Passer" rated at 83. Hey at least they moved him up the dual-threat ladder. He was rated 83 before when he was ranked the 6th best dual-threat QB. He should have moved up to around 85-86. I noticed that too. That didn't make any sense. I guess it takes a lot to move from 83 to 84. Something like 120 spots. AW went from an 83.2 to like an 83.8, rounding down. I take it they don't think highly of QB-DT, even though he put on a clinic over the best QB-PPs. I am sure they want to see his senior year productivity before moving him more.
  21. You weren't lying. I can't wait to watch the Elite 11!
  22. My thoughts exactly. From what I understand, he is in no way a run first QB like BJ. He out-slinged the best in the nation and because he is considered a DT they treat it like a handicap. This is just an initial adjustment, lets see where he ends by signing day. A good senior year should move him up.
  23. 1. He probably played in that tourny so he was out of town in case anyone questioned his whereabouts. 2. I looked at that link. I wonder how many attended the kicking camp after the poor marketing job last season? "Come learn how to punt the ball 20 yards!"
  24. I was following Asiantii all week at E11 via twitter and other sources. After reading all the tweets, I was shocked that he wasn't cracking the top 10 until the very end. I am not surpirsed he was named MVP. I feel confident he will remain a strong verbal and know he will be a great ambassador for the program. We all knew Asiantii was better than his ranking (which wasn't bad to begin), but it is no doubt his recruiting ranking will go up. It won't change Asiantii's abilities and high ceiling, but as stated before it means more off the field. For an offensive recruit to know they will have one of the nation's best QB prospects to protect or catch passes from can't hurt with recruiting.
