  1. I can't even imagine the meltdown that will ensue if they decide to retain him
  2. The O/U's have been too easy... Does Vegas think that we have an offense?
  3. Todd Grantham is coaching on CBS right now... That was the inspiration behind the post
  4. I want (insert name of fiery defensive coordinator here)!!!!
  5. He's always been a stand up guy... Why not be known as a "stand up coach who just didn't get it done at USF (for whatever reason) rather than the man who set USF Football back 8-10 years.
  6. Do you honestly think I'm just pulling this out of my butt? I want an apology from EACH and EVERY one of you who are calling this BS when you see that I'm right. You'll be a legend on this board if this is true... Hope you're right
  7. I don't think it's that crazy... money has never been an issue to that family. Why not say thank you to the University for allowing him the opportunity and walk off in a classy manner. They might have also agreed to a buyout lower than the $2.5 mil that allows him to walk off on his own terms. Still very unlikely, but I'd really respect him for doing the right thing
  8. What?!?! I thought Doug would definitely get this done... I mean look at all he's done for us!
  9. We're definitely improving, good win. Really looking forward to the OK St matchup
  10. No matter where the game is played, I won't go as long as Skip is our coach.
  11. Saw the ESPNU all access on Kent State last night, was not overly impressed. We can do better
  12. Congrats to you guys... Much deserved. Hopefully we'll be playing each other sooner rather than later.
  13. I had to unfollow the kid after a couple of days... Every tweet was about how girls don't like him and NC State.
  14. The words in bold are likely true. At least for now, I think the Big 12 is actually more likely for us than the ACC. Both might be afraid of us potentially diluting a tv contract. However, the ACC has two Florida members recruiting against us, while the other major faction might perceive our academics as inferior. The Big 12 has neither problem. The ACC losing many teams could open a slot for us, but with Miami still there, there is a strong possibility we would be blocked just for be being a potential competitor with a Florida member. Ironically, the Florida "Big 3" might be blocking us like we were accused with UCF. But, even if the former is true, I doubt there would ever be a backlash from politicians, a sportswriter (like Mike Bianchi), or even many fans. We did try to block UCF, but with a conference on the brink (much like the ACC without FSU) UM will have to let us in
  15. It'd make me sick to my stomach to see Jim in the garnett and gold... But I wish the guy nothing but the best. He deserves better than the FSU DC job
  16. I honestly don't think it's a horrible idea to send a cordial letter to one of these people, I just think that it's a complete waste of time. This is a Mike Bianchi-esque post, calling for politicians to step in and save us from the evil leaders at FSU blocking us from getting in. Nobody is blocking us... We're just not appealing to the ACC at the moment. If Fsu and/or UM leave, then it'll be a different story
  17. Ha... I think that WVU twitter account has more insight than this hack. Discipline? Guess nobody watched last Friday's game.
  18. It's really pretty bizarre when you think about it... Just 5 years ago we were #2 in the freaking country. We were the talk of college football, a bright future ahead of us, a head coach that was going to be our Bobby Bowden or Joe Pa (minus the ****). Now look at us. ******* pathetic. But hey, Dougy and Skip got their extensions... All the while Judy shops for more red lipstick while this program regresses into a CUSA mid level **** show.
