    My understanding is that he could coach, but if he did he would give up $ owed to him by UNC. I'm pretty sure after this year, UNC stops owing him $ and he's free to coach

    This is getting to be absurd ... and just reinforcing my opinion of the twits on Twitter ... no offense, Greg. The only word that I've heard from Quinn, was him stating that USF had made no contact with him... ANY HC job is a step up from a coordinator position

    This is a GREAT idea for basketball games! I was initially just kidding, but this should be a staple in the USF student section... Now, only if our students appreciated the journalistic prowess of the great Greg Auman.

    Taking a line from Coach Schiano, you want other teams to want your coach... tells you that you're making good hires. If he leaves, it'll mean that we've done extremely well and can't afford to keep him.

I've failed myself and have joined the Cult of Twitter It's a dangerous thing, but it's by far the best way to get rumors and legit info in the same place.

    Wonder why..... wtf Doug stated they were going after a big name candidate to turn the program around... Taggart is not a big name. USF will likely work its way down to Taggart when did he state that? I think hatter was asking when did DW say "they were going after a big name candidate" .... Answer: Never. Did McMuffin delete that tweet? Not seeing it on his page.

    Guys blowing smoke. CCS (Coach Charlie Strong) is not the front runner for WKU. He's just a UL guy having some fun over the Strong rumors. I hate twitter for this exact reason.

    Or UCF NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!........................ It's hard not to make a good case for them at this point: Larger student body than USF. On-campus stadium/better gameday environment than USF. No BCS experience but more successful in CUSA than USF when it moved to a BCS conference. Arugably better location for road trips than USF. Stable coaching situation. Better basketball. Competitive academically to USF. trololololol 1 win over us in the 1st game of the season equates to better bball in this guy's mind. Guess you don't care about facilities either. Go troll on the Mickey Mouse MB's.

    Don't really understand all the negativity towards Nutt. His overall body of work is really solid, those 2 awful years at Ole Miss shouldn't cloud our judgment when evaluating this guy

    Wow, Tom Jones is really setting a new low as one of the most inept, lazy sports writers in America (similar to Bianchi and David Whitley). Why is anyone paying this guy for his "insight?" He has never contributed a thoughtful, fact-based article. Pay attention TOM JONES (cool name, btw) to all the interest that the USF job is garnering. It's all about the $, children worry about things like conference affiliation
