  1. There, now you can fully express your UF hatred. Well, not you until tomorrow I think... But everyone else can
  2. Anyone see the Rutgers=Poo, UConn=Poo, or Santa Bull crapping on the Purple Pirate shirts this season?
  3. I've been to one basketball, one soccer, and one baseball game... And every football home game. I support our other teams, but I've always loved football first.
  4. GO BUCKEYES! Someone needs to take the average UF fan down a few pegs. They really love themselves.
  5. True, ESPN does suck... But they're our best mouthpiece right now, the only way people are hearing about Bull Nation. It was awesome watching the highlights the night of the win down in 5 Points. The bar went wild and USF was getting the national recognition they deserved.
  6. smaz... I know you take a lot of heat on the board. I just want to let you know I appreciate your dark-side approach... But I rarely agree. It is like someone p1ssed in your cheerios this morning--but that wouldn't make much since because you are like this every day!
  7. What? Oh, yes.... ONE MILLION people were there. It sounded more like 28 BILLION though.
  8. Fans are an important ingredient in building a rivalry and based on this year's game few USF fans cared enough about the game to make the trip to Louisville. Winner, Winner! Chicken Dinner! Throw in the fact that AFTER an actual crowd of over 40,000 plus showed up to see USF/UCF play at RJS in '05...the following week USF hosted a Top 10 UL Team...but an actual crowd of less than 30,000 showed up. So...who is your rival? A team in Louisville...where only a few dozen USF fans went to their road game??? Or one where a few THOUSAND USF fans went to a road game....plus a heck of a lot more casual fans in Tampa decided to show up to watch USF play UCF...vs USF play Top 10 UL. PS. Apologize in advance for posting some actual facts into this mostly emotional conversation. USF in the future could have numerous rivals...just like UF...who has rivlaries with FSU, Tennessee, Georgia, LSU, and now of course South Carolina. Plus with USF having to schedule FIVE non-conf games per year...there is plenty of room on their schedule to have SEVERAL non-conf rivalry games...just like when FSU had both Miami and UF on their "non-conf" schedule every year. I think if UL was as close as Orlando we would've had tons of fans traveling to watch us play. Where I'm going with this is you could put FIU, or hell, a high school team, no wait that's the same as UCF... I got off track... You could put ANY team in Orlando and you'd still get tons of Bull fans driving over. Translation: we still don't care about you UCF and I don't see that changing.
  9. Ok, because people insist upon this speculation... I'm going to throw my number in... ONE MILLION THOUSAND!!!! And NONE of you can prove me wrong!!!!
  10. As the year went on Grothe came into his own and both the D/O lines solidified. We just grew up a lot this year. The games we played earlier are little indication of the team we are now. Grothe just began to hit his stride against UCF. I'd agree with smazza, we could rack up some wins by playing them more often--but we need to strengthen our OOC games. Looking forward to Auburn, Florida, and Miami on our radar.
  11. OH WAIT... A PLACE TO USE MY CANNED RESPONSE TO A TRAVELING THREAD! I'm tired of talking about attendance and traveling. We all know it is important. We shouldn't be debating how many we can bring or why people don't go. We should be coming up with ideas to get more people involved in USF Football. Posters, flyers, watch parties... I know we do some of these things and we expect the Alum. Assoc. and administration to do these things. The bottom line is we need to kick it into another gear. How about this--drag 2 people for every one Bulliever to every event (watch party, pregame, WHATEVER) next season! If you get people's feet in the door, they will believe. Trust me, I brought an Illinois fan, a Penn State fan, and a couple MTSU fans to a couple tailgates this season and now they love da Bulls (and beer).

  13. True, but whatever he does, good luck to him. WHEN he goes to the NFL, I'll be proud to say he's one of ours.
  14. It was nice -- especially because he was being knocked by the announcers up till that point.
  15. ECU had fans for the most part only at Dave's... You know, where the fights broke out. USF had them mainly at 5 Points Grill, Ruby Tuesday's, and the Mellow Mushroom (which actually had some ECU fans too). I saw tons, wasn't worried about attendance just about avoiding the crowd at Dave's.
  16. I second the good time in Birmingham thought. I also add that you have some hotties at the UAB medical school/center. I would've liked to have seen more of them, but I understand it is Christmas break. The only complaint I have is concessions, and that has been said. Three beer lines for 32,000 people--a little ridiculous. Oh, and they ran out of toilet paper before the game started. That was fun. I actually like the bench seats though. Old school. Great time though, I like the 5 Points district. Small but has character. OH, you should convince someone to use that castle-looking building you have downtown for a Medieval Times location (http://www.medievaltimes.com/) That would be great!
  17. Yeah Matt, we all appreciated it! I'm sure you put a ton of work into it.
  18. I walked by Dave's, did some good natured smack talking with them and kept moving. 95% of the ECU fans I met were nice people. Quite a few of them came up to me after the game in the hotel or on the street and said something congratulatory. The problem arises when their drunk idiot 5% mixes with our drunk idiot 5%...
  19. Anyone else know of any tunes I can use for the CD up--besides the ones on the HOT website and this one?
  20. Yeah not half bad. I don't really listen to hip-hop much either but I appreciate anything that promotes the Bulls!
  21. First, hahahah. Second... NO WAY to score 20 points on our defense in the last 10 minutes of the game. Just impossible. Sorry.
  22. Prediction schmeediction, LET'S PLAY SOME BALL! (and drink some beer!)
  23. See the photos from the send-off? http://www.gousfbulls.com/PhotoAlbum.dbml?ATCLID=727027&SPSID=37319&SPID=2981&DB_OEM_ID=7700&PALBID=6823
  24. Let's PARTY people! The Bullgame is a mere 3 days and 17 hours away!
