  1. That's what happens when we turned our government over to big business.
  2. Ahhhh good ol capitalism at it's finest. Find a product that will sell, market it, start raising the profit on the product until you find what the market will bear. Obviously, in sports, we haven't found what that number is. We have a $5.5 BILLION dollar stadium, a $700 MILLION dollar baseball player, college kids making SEVEN FIGUREs for playing, etc. We have not found the top of the market yet. I'm mostly with @Outlaw on this one. Although I do donate a minimal amount to the collective and athletics, I have reached my limit on what I will donate. I know that I will soon be priced out of the market, but that's ok because someone else will pay my way to enjoy it in a different capacity the future.
  3. Thank God we didn't get stuck in the Cure Bowl today. That's going to suck. I hate it for the teams, but think it's hilarious for the host. GO BULLS!
  4. Of course! I checked out yesterday to work a Christmas event with my daughter. Serving beer and wine for about 250 guest. Didn't get in til late last night. Thanks for the heads up. It did not work yesterday when we tried it.
  5. Alumni email went straight to trash, so we missed it. Still no word on tickets. I guess they're not far enough down the pecking order for us. The address posted above can't be reached.
  6. Alumni is doing a tailgate, but it's sold out. Haven't seen anything about Wednesday. Haven't seen anything about tickets either.
  7. And that is a massive problem with the NIL.
  8. 247 shows only defensive guys in the portal. Was QB Shrader injured? May be the reason for some of the loses. He's got some pretty good games. Was the #2 rusher behind Allen, who had 1062yds. 2023 Syracuse Orange Stats | College Football at Sports-Reference.com WWW.SPORTS-REFERENCE.COM 2023 Syracuse Orange Stats
  9. Apparently. Who paid for the SoFi Stadium? How Stan Kroenke and NFL power brokers created SoFi Stadium ... Rams owner Stan Kroenke poured six years and at least $5 billion into the 3.1-million-square-foot building that looks as if it arrived from another world. SoFi Stadium's swooping lines are an homage to the curves of California's coast.
  10. They’re paying high school kids. BB could easily cash in if he wanted to.
  11. Why is he not counted in recruit rankings? I think he’s considered a 5* recruit.
  12. I don't think he has left any position unless it was an upgrade in responsibility, or the head coach left. He has certainly worked his way up thru the ranks, and maybe the NFL someday. I just don't get the feeling he's chasing money. Of course he is an OSU Alumni, so maybe that one.
  13. I’m sure he’ll say the foundation is laid after we get there, whenever that is.
  14. Huge flip for Golesh! https://twitter.com/jechols24/status/1733221909574164776/photo/1
  15. Coulda been neighbors. I was born in Jackson Hts. in'53. My grandma was the first street car driver in Tampa, then lunchroom manager at the old Jefferson High.
  16. Just my 2¢ but Verizon is 100% the absolute worst provider in the history of customer service.
