Announcement of Bowl invite is supposed to be 6:30pm on GoUSFBULLS.com. I would assume info on tickets and packages would be announced then also.

Bowls will use that (not staying overnight) as an EXCUSE to not invite a team, it doesn't stop them from inviting a team if they want them.

Marketing? How in the f--- can they market when they haven't been invited? Good gosh get a clue. There are packages prepared and by midday tomorrow the press and USF will be all over the announcement and there will be a plethora of travel packages and announcements made. They have a package to B-Ham already in-place champ but they can't release it until it's official! DUH! You'll find the packages this year are much more affordable and fun. I've heard prices in the range of $550 for all inclusive travel. Now chill I realize this is not a BCS Bowl, but we CAN start thinking (and planning) bigger. And prove that we deserve bigger and better bowls in the future. Packages CAN be released ahead of the announcement as pre-orders and probably sell more. Many people (including MANY on this board) are already making their own packages, therefore will not be buying any the marketing Dept. might offer. I just think with as much interest there is out there to try and back the BULLS, a little preliminary advertised efforts would be accepted and appreciated. Ads in the paper, radio, etc.

Yes our Marketing is waaaaaaay behind the times. Preliminary orders for tickets, bus, airlines,hotels, etc. should all be available. LSU has sold over 30,000 prelim, tickets to the Rise Bowl (just about forcing themselves into the game). It couls all be done with a deposit that would be refunded or credited to season tickets next year.

Yes, But the USF marketing still lack any imagination. Look at LSU they have already sold over 30,000 "preliminary" tickets to the Rose Bowl. Bulls marketing should already be taing orders for the Bowl, Bus, Hotels, etc. Got to start think BIGGER!!!!!!

CBS Sportsline has UF with the #1 SOS, and Michigan with #4. Close enough that there's no difference. Yes but they only look at W-L record of opponents. The Big 10 opponents build up their W-L records by playing each other. All second teir SEC quality. UF has played a much tougher schedule and the tougher opponents away. UM also had their chance and did not produce.

Don't bother with the Banner on ebay, He doesn't have them. I won one and then he told me it was a mistake to run the auction. 2 days later he had it up for bid again. Never could get him to deliver.

Just drove that route over the Thanksgiving weekend. Speed does slow to 50mph in some spots, but it was not too bad when I went through on Friday. I drive this a couple times a month going hunting. You are correct, it slows a bit, but you generally can still stay above 55MPH and some times maintain 70 MPH.

I have 4 rooms reserved at the Sheraton (~$92) and 4 rooms reserved at the Days Inn (~$60). for 2 nights each, 2 double beds, non-smoking. May not need them all, but have them just in case. Later next week PM me if you need a room and I'll see if I can let any go.
