The stupid trick plays that Rod used to like to use and we couldn't execute. Weren't those Voodoo plays that helped beat UL in 2005? voodoo 5 against UConn in '05 from the what..2-yard line or something? So those weren't Voodoo plays we DID execute against Louisville...? ;D I guess we don't call them VOODOO when they actually work...

Well, good point BBB, but maybe I am biased. I seem to remember better the times they failed. We used them way too much. Which game was it where the wr gained five yards and then pitched the ball back to the running back (who sloppily missed it and we lost all we gained). We looked like the Keystone Cops. Also, I don't consider the reverse where Amarri comes around to be VOODOO. Many teams do that.

One is reported going to WV the other simply resigning. Don't know what to make of that.

I don't know. They would be smart to take us seriously, but I don't think we command that kind of respect yet from teams with that kind of history. I hope I am right. We are still young enough where we can use the advantage of being "Where Florida??" I also agree that this could be our coming out party. Beat Auburn and L'ville or WV again (have to get two of those three) and I would say we show up big on radars. But if we beat Auburn and lose to both L'ville and WV, and Auburn will be seen as a fluke. It is really hard to earn big respect with a young program and a directional name. I have no doubt we will get there and sooner rather than later. But with a young program like ours, you will always get a "yeah, but..." until we knock down giants consistently. God, I hope I don't sound like smazza

Although I expressed my sadness, all day long I had a smile on my face for him for one reason -- he got to know the joy of scoring a touchdown for his team on his home field before he was gone. What a gift for him! He was blessed in a way that most aren't, so in this sadness there is some joy. Peace be with you, Keeley!

It doesn't surprise me about Ponton after the bowl game. Watching him joke, cut up while on suspension I could tell he just doesn't get it.

Well, as HowieP posted on another board, what about a new BE bowl in the Bay area, possibly the Trop? I would be psyched for that. Would rather RayJay, but I will take a BE bowl where I can get it.

I hadn't made it down there yet since it is a long drive from Hernando County, so they haven't lost a current customer. They lost a potential customer. I don't favor an organized boycott. I will think for myself. And I think I will shop elsewhere. Pickin's are slim way up here. I get my stuff at the bookstore when I have a reason to be on campus.

I think this is big for USF. BE championship probably just got closer. Brohm and Bush could go.

What does this mean for USF? It could mean an even better chance for a BE championship. Five years and 25 million are hard to say no to.

But what about Petrino Leaving? This won't have any affect on their performance? I say we are positioned very nicely for BE champ next year!!

I second this! You have played a big part in keeping the level of excitement up and any alumni chapter you join will certainly benefit. Give me a call when you arrive. Maybe we can trade ideas on our future Bull rooms. I KNOW you will have one right away!

And, to some extent, the effect of larger donations on a fan is mitigated by the allowance of eight seats under that donation versus four seats under a lesser donation. So, in some ways, they are attempting to level it.
