Me + 3, arriving Fri afternoon.  Just checked the 10-day on weather.com, next thursday is showing high of 70 and rain 60%.........hopefully a front moving through for the game!  Regardless it'll be a nice change from the 90+ here.  Can't wait!

And yet you'll never find me namecalling individual players, saying we should fire leavitt, that the team sucks, or anything of the sort. I expect us to win every game, and get disappointed when we don't.  I'm assuming the team approaches it the same way. What does happen is that I get very frustrated when we could and should win and easily correctable mistakes cause us not to.  I also understand the difficulty of the college game though.  If it was easy, I'd have been on that field last night. You'll also find, if you sift carefully through my posts, that I've repeatedly defended our defense and have blamed both of our last losses on the 3 things the team actually lacks: 1.  A capable starting running back (note that I'm not directly attacking anyone by doing this, they're being thrown to the dogs at that position.  If I blame anyone here, it's Ponton)  2.  Our kicking game, I'll admit I was disappointed we didnt give the other kicker a scholly, since he did earn a starting position there based on performance on the field.  3.  Turnovers.  Grothe really does look like the QB of the future, but I'm sick of people harping on our defense when he turns it over.  He's a first year starter.  He's young.  He's not perfect, but it seems like people are trying to tack some of his blame somewhere else.  I hate to see that.  The kid needs to see his mistakes, acknowledge them, and correct them.  Fortunately, unlike many on this board he's shown me HE will do that. So before you go calling me out, keep in mind that I neither called for doom and gloom nor attacked any of the players directly.  (or even the coaching staff!  I'll admit to getting on smiths case in past weeks).  What about the fans that talk about how we suck, or say X will destroy us every week, or that we're not ready for the big time?  You don't see that garbage out of me.  I think we're a potential bowl team this year and that's it.  That's not an insult or a compliment, it's reality.  I don't think any rational fan from anywhere in the country would see 3-2 USF any other way. Edit:  Hahahahahaha...Got me goooooooooooooooooooooooood I should wait to post until i've been awake more than 10 minutes.  I'll leave the post though, because that's how I feel.  I really do love this team/school, and that's why i'll jump on a bad performance.  I know we can do better, and I know our team knows that too. FISH ON!!!!

I bought this Nike fitted hat at Sports FanAttic at Westshore.  They have it at Bulls Heaven as well.  I love it, and it is the right color green.

I'm trying to think of some of the Holtzisms that I heard last night........one that sticks out in my mind was "you don't win football games, you lose them" or something to that effect.  Or when he said something about not running at the guys w/ the stickers on their helmets.  I was really wondering if ol Lou had been hitting some of Granpa's cough medicine.  ;D

Got 4 going......anybody know where you're gonna tailgate???  I can't imagine that there are going to be 40,000 stone-sober fans in that stadium, so there has to be somewhere to tailgate where you can enjoy some quality adult beverages.

I don't blame the guy for buying up as many tickets as he could, seeing as how it was perfectly within the rules.  Seems to me, since it was evident that the demand was there, that SG should have put some sort of cap on the amount of tickets one person can buy just to make it fair for the other students that actually got off their arses and lined up to buy them.  That seems to be a pretty standard rule when it comes to buying tickets for events that have high demand (ie. Bucs games, concerts, etc).  Regardless, I hope all of the tickets that dude bought are used, and used by USF students.

Yeah, they want to shorten the length of these games I guess.  Just stupid, I don't understand why you have to fix something that is not broken (to me, at least).  Maybe they should try shortening halftime, isn't it like 20 min???  I haven't looked too far into the reasons why they want to do this, but undoubtedly it ultimately comes down to $$$.

I guess if you have a good enough reason..........."it's too hot" or "but there's another good game on at the same time" is not a good reason. It sickens me to even think about this question.  It makes me physically, violently ill. I'm throwing up right now. Sure, as long as you are a Bulls fan when they play any of the aforementioned teams. Criticize, yes..........berate, no Sure.......and it's okay (and probably advisable) for us to ignore you. The only thing I feel that I am "owed" is for our players, coaches, and administrators to perform to the highest of their ability, while maintaining certain ethical and moral standards.  And I expect the school to bring in the best possible players/coaches/administrators available to carry out this task.

tickets to the Daytona 500? I usually scalp them at the track, but last year they were tough to come by for a reasonable price. I know this is a weird place to ask, but I am going to wear my Bulls gear to the track, thereby exposing USF to thousands of people! Thought I might get lucky here.......GO BULLS!!!
