  1. Aha! So that was you!! Did they get all the player signatures? Some of them were coming in late--like 2 minutes before they were to walk off...tsk tsk tsk. I got Leavitt to sign a Papa John's frisbee...and Chicky let me borrow her sharpie so he could do it...thank again, Jenna.
  2. I was reading about the Galleria today. Sounds like a really awesome mall, and that's coming from someone that doesn't really like them much.
  3. He says on there that "he guarantees three's" as in FG's? No way!
  4. I love that little Gecko. Too bad their insurance is super high for me and I'm planning on changing. :-)
  5. That's what I was thinking... But how can you get bad grades your senior year!?
  6. So since the entire band has to be at the bowl game, that means no one will be at the men's game against Missouri St?
  7. It was Hersbsteit who said it (I think).  He's an ass.  All he does is talk about his alminghty OSU.  Thought I must say, that Script Ohio is crazy!! The segment where they mentioned that no one could stop WV was when they were talking about a playoff and the 10 teams that should be in.  WV was 10 getting the last bid over ND.  UL was in it.  Then they started talking about if Boise State should be in there, and should ND take its place.  Blah blah.  Again, Hersbstreit is an ass...but he was speaking the truth.  How many people can stop WV?  Seriously.  Not many. I hate misspelling things!
  8. applepj, Rizzo and I will be in one car. We'll probably head out with you guys then split up somewhere along the way. It all depends the pit-stops.
  9. I know Kim and Scott, both who were in SBC last year, are doing it. Don't know if you know them, but they're flying in and out like you.
  10. I can't wait for this. And Andrew--it's the pic that you're not in. ;D
  11. So if HOT isn't in section 12....who is? The students in section 32 will be hearing the band loud and clear as they are only 6 rows beneath them.
  12. I wish it was on TV so I could have seem them run up the score. I hadn't seen the score since half time so when I saw we had 80something I was very surprised.
  13. Party at my place! It's my birthday!! Haha, kidding... Hopefully I will be at 5 points also...celebrating my bday and a Bulls victory.
  14. They're the players with the most points in tonights game. Expected it from Jesus, not so from Gransberry.
  15. Mozzicato, you're the man!! You know I'll be there!! I'm proud of you for putting this thing together...awww.
  16. It was posted either on GoUSFBulls.com or on the PapaJohns.com bowl site. I saw it there over a week ago...I'm trying to find the link now.
  17. Man, that's just sad. Like I said before...if people want season tickets they will buy them. That's it.
  18. I hope we can sell at least 6K from our allotment. Remember, some people also probably got them from Ticketmaster--that's something that everyone needs to understand...buy them from USF!!! I also don't believe that the 4,400 includes the athletics peoplem players and the band, ect.... Just no way...
  19. Honestly, I don't think reaching out to the students will do much. If a graduating student wants season tickets they will get it. I'm getting my season tickets as soon as the spring semester start. Sending postage to all graduating students letting them know about season tickets would be a waste of money. What person doesn't know that they can buy season tickets to the USF events? Ticket wise--I think 500 was enough. Not only that, but many alumni donated even more. If they didn't get a free ticket they could have gotten one...$30 is not going to make a student not go to a bowl game. Now I do think that more should have been done to advertise the bowl game. Maybe put some ads on TV and on the Oracle (I didn't see any). The biggest reason why sales have been disappointing is because, like many others have said, we're young. It takes time.
  20. Exactly. I completely understand your situation Joe. But like Moises said, I'm referring to people that make it an excuse when it really shouldn't be an excuse. Everyone knows that bowl games are played during the holiday season, so even if the bowl game was the 28th, people would probably pull the "it's too close to New Year's" excuse...which some did last year. I would love if all our fans were like you, Joe. You really want to go, and you even considered it with a giant leap in price. Again, I'm talking more about people that automatically say they won't go because it's "too close to a holiday" or that say it's not feasible.
  21. I am honestly suprised if this is really the amount of tickets that have been sold. I don't buy the whole "it's two days before Christmas" BS. I am going to the bowl game--spending my entire bday in a car driving there. Not only that, but I HAVE to be home by evening on the 24th since my family always celebrates Noche Buena (Chrismas Eve) and not really Christmas Day. And get this--I'm not driving back after the game. I'm staying in B-Ham, spending money since that's what the bowl people want. My family would kill me if I'm not home by dinner time on the 24th. I am leaving really early on the 24th and will make it in time. So all this 2 days before Christmas crap pisses me off. If I can do it then MANY others can. They jut have to sacrifice having to wake up early to drive. Big deal. The only reason I can see people not making the bowl game is if they already had previous plans that could not be cancelled, of it they just did not have the money to attend. I'm still at USF, so money is not something I have floating around--thank God for credit cards. Ok, I'm done now.
  22. So it's Cubanbull and Qbanbull....I thought you two were the same. But on topic...I think the plaque would be a great idea.
  23. 1. Most Pleasant Surprise of the 2006 Regular Season? Definitely Grothe...and his crazy plays.  Our defense was great too. 2. Biggest Disappointment of the 2006 Regular Season? The lack of our running game besides Grothe. 3. Best Memory of the 2006 Regular Season? Going to so many games.  All home games, UNC, UCF, UL and the bowl game.  And of course--beating WV at their place. 4. Worst Memory of the 2006 Regular Season? That **** Kansas loss.  3 players being out for 6 games that would have impacted those 6 games big time. And losing to Rutgers by 2 when we should have won by 1 with the FG that was missed. Ugh! 5. Do you plan to upgrade your tix or donation within the next 5-10 years? Well since I'm graduating I am getting season tickets.  So I guess I'm upgrading from the student section to those.
