Randy Moss did all right in college. I believe first choice ND, then FSU, and then Marshall. I don't think Marshall was upset with the decision.

And there lies the problem with baseball. The have money and the have not money. Baseball needs to be fixed. It is a shame that teams like the Yankees and Red Sox can just continue to buy there way into the playoffs with the hope of a WS ring. Give me the GM roll of either team and I'll get them there.

So Smazza, what does that make the Giants? DRays took 2 of 3 from them. In fact, I believe they were about .500 against the league excluding the 38 games they had against the Yanks and Red Sox. You would be correct they are not in there league but it is tough when they spend 100 million less. Correct baseball with some sort of cap and I will stress I also believe there should be a minimum so that the payroll is higher here in Tampa.

Sure. But they have performed better than anyone expected this year. Progress is what most of us were looking for and I have seen it. Of course my fear is that the main contributors are our seniors but that has traditionally been the case so we will have to wait til next year to see who steps up.

There is a difference. People wanted Self to stay whereas most fans were chasing Seth out of here. That is why I wish him well and don't have a problem with him. Sure, many will say this was just a stepping stone but it was not like everyone was wanting him to stay and it was a shock when he left.

That was a great win and I do hand it to SG, he has really done a very good job with VT. I may not like seeing his name all the time when people are discussing our team but I have always wished him well at VT. I must admit though that I am surprised of the quick turnaround. Good luck the rest of the way. Unfortunately for him I believe it will take a couple more upsets to get into the 'dance'. That is speculation due to having I think 10 losses already. I do believe the Duke win pretty much will wrap up an NIT bid with the fact that I believe they are .500 in the ACC. Good luck!

Please stop bringing up Seth. Sorry, but if you all want a winner I do not consider 2 NIT appearances(both losses) anything to jump and down about. Now back to Mac, I am just as disappointed as the next guy but I guess my expectations were not that high at first. It was evident from the beginning to me that he was going to clean house and build it in his image. I am willing with the lack of success over the last 13 years to give him a couple of years before turning on him. People that keep on bringing up the seniors are leading this team and they are not Mac's kids comments are not very bright. Go look at T. Leather and Swifts numbers when they were freshman and soph. I'll admit I have not taking that time but I would be surprised if they were 'leaders' of the team then.

Although I like the story it has not been the case for me. I really just did not always think about it until after the fact. Plus, just really kidding about the whole thing anyway. I will say I like the batting average theory. In college I did not care how many no's I got in a night. All it took was the one yes that night that made it a good one.
