    MarkeyMark, keep in mind what hurt Auburn this year schedule wise is Bowling Green backed out to play OU. I personally find that funny because that is the difference on who played USC. Smazza, based on your statement why did USC play California this year. After all I thought they lost to them last year. That is why they play the games. Each year is different with different young men playing the game. Auburn was undefeated this year while they had something like 4 losses last year(that is off the top of my head so it obviously could be wrong). Stop pointing to them having a chance in previous years because it makes no sense whatsoever.

    smazza, auburn deserves shot as much as any team. They were undefeated this year period. USC had close games to worse teams than VT such as Stanford and UCLA. I too believe they were the best team this year (USC) but I do feel bad that the system will not allow us to see it on the field. As for playing in an NFL team I will assume you are kidding and just having fun. If you truly believe that you show a lot of ignorance.

    I believe what he meant is if Temple did NOT beat Syracuse then Harris would have been fired and then not hired by Stanford. Syracuse would have won the Big East and Pitt would not be in a BCS game and the Pitt faithful would have been calling for his head. Smazza was on the right track with this one. I don't agree very often with him.

    First off congrats to Andre.  But I am curious why some of our lineman did not fair as well.  It appeared to me that they were opening good holes for Andre and Julmiste had nice pass protection this year.  I think our line was underrated this year due to the inconsistency of our QB. I am modifying this statement to reflect that I do realize our overall offense was not that good and with some of the other offenses in C-USA it would be hard to reward offensive players from our team. So eventhough I saw some good things from this line I understand why they do not get the credit.

    I saw new QB a couple of times but I hope the whole defense plays better as well. Without the defense playing better next year I would not put USF in the top half. Hopefully with returning players and the youngsters being a year older things get better.

    I know for the Memphis game they promoted a 4 pack for I believe $40. Will there be something similar for the game against Pitt?

    Something to note here. Seth did win a staggering 8 games in his first year but did turn it around with 17 in his second and back to .500 in his 3rd with 14 wins. We went to the NIT in his fourth year. I believe you have to give MAC his chance as well. Since we will evidently have a tougher schedule come next year I don't have the same expectation record wise but by year 4 I do expect us to at least be competitive with the big boys and win our share with the lower half of the league. Unlike others I am not bitter over Seth but I do feel it is good he moved on because the time was right. I wish him well. He may have not met the expectations he gave us but we were above or equal to .500 every year but his first.

    They put it on without being asked. In fact they put it on right in front of me. Pretty cool I thought. The screen flashed at the bottom that at the conclusion of the game being shown that the USF vs ECU game was going to be shown. I was a little disappointed that I was the only one to care considering the majority of people around were from the Tampa area.

    I watched it from Jocks and Jills last week when I went up for the Bucs game in Atlanta. That place is expensive.

    I believe this is the key to the game for USF.  Cincy has stopped 2 other main backs and for us to win we need Andre to have another big day.  It all starts there to open up the play action that has appeared to work lately.  I believe this is a big time game for our offensive line to show once again what they are made of. ÂÂ

    I'm not so convinced about how people down play Utah. They have pounded the 3 BCS teams they have played this year. I guess one can say if they played 8 BCS games it would be different but NC did beat UM and Utah beat them by 30. They also rolled Texas A&M who played OU pretty tough. I don't think any of us know for sure what Utah would do against the big boys but I for one would like to see them in a BCS game to get an idea. Even with there schedule going undefeated is an accomplishment worth reward.

    GarySJ, I must admit I did not take that into account when thinking about bowl games. I was only thinking about our 5 bowl allotment from CUSA. Of course this is just wishful thinking at this point until they prove that they can win a couple in a row.

    It may be wonderful to all that hate USM but keep in mind that makes our game against cincy a must win now for any dreams of a bowl game.  I know a bowl is a long shot but I try to keep the dream alive and I believe that even if we win six but with a loss to cincy they will get the invite.  I could be wrong.  Heck winning six games this year is a long shot but I will keep on hoping.  First off of course is ECU but then comes cincy and I would love to end there bowl chances.

    'Memph and Cincy - both losses - will be very cold in OH. ' And you said UAB would blow us out. Keep some faith people and enjoy the games as they come. If and I say If we beat ECU then we can worry about Cincy. Cincy is up and down as well and heck Memphis lost to UAB and Cincy. No one is unbeatable that is left on our schedule but at the same time I believe no team is a sure win including ECU considering we lost to Army. Let's just hope that we build on the UAB positives and continue to get better so we have a chance for a bowl going into our final game.

    It's a little scary when UAB's QB threw for 448 yds in one game and Julmiste has 687 all season. Hopefully this is another TCU type game for him.
