  1. storming a field is not worth the price of a huge stadium do you want to sink this program before it really takes off? we've beaten this subject to death-- it comes down to priorities. ANd to me, building something that expensive when scrapped by to build our new athletic facility (which, by the way, still has a debt service) is asinine. enjoy the win-- but let's stop this storming nonsense. If you just stand at the edge of the stands-- players will come by and you can congratulate them then. Or better yet- do it when you see them on campus.
  2. the question is-- does this get you off the ESPN bottom 10 list? or put Marshall there... anyway-- congrats on getting that monkey off your back
  3. actually-- that call was good. I have pistures showing he touched the ball to the ground and according to rule, that is downing the ball. It was not a touchdown. still-- let's dwell on this big ass win
  4. I find those rankings generally get skewed in the favor of the name programs. Not that UL isn't in that league per se, but until we both got in the BE we were treated like just another mid-major. So if you landed a highly sought after recruit, suddenly their rankings started to slip. It's just another example of how the big guys try to keep the little guys down-- even by artificial means. Good luck Saturday. We will be much improved since last seasons debacle.
  5. ^^^^ I submitted this one but it didn't get included I guess (unless it was and I missed it OR you don't count the pics of the guys) ^^^^ This is probably the better shot (slightly out of focus). The guys hardly ever get in the shots. Women have needs to guys. I only submit the photos (over 200 with about 1700 taken)-- Brad picks the ones he wants. For instance, there was one shot in a burst series that I wanted in there showing that Hall's knee was in fact down when they called him short of a TD at the 1 yard line-- the crowd sounded upset.... it was the correct call.
  6. bump any reason why we never pin these to the top?
  7. All I care about is putting our best foot forward towards winning this game What the field or team looks like doing it is inconsequential imo It's no secret that we play where the Bucs play. If you want to make a slight difference that won't cost much more-- make the color of the midfield flag GOLD instead of white, with a HUGE BLACK/DARK GREEN (whatever) inconic U--- one you can see from the seats very clearly.
  8. it really comes down to one simple issue--- we don't have an on campus stadium or location they could use for the set that will ensure student turnout. That is their method for doing these things. And to ESPN, we are still considered, Lee Fowler said so blatantly at our Army Gameday farce-- "a commuter school". Those pricks didn't bother to even put our helmet on the stage for that game and had THE BALLS to say that Army would end their losing streak and BEAT USF. We won 28-0 -- and that Gameday set was rained on heavily, finally closed down by sever lightning. Don't mess the Bulls ESPN-- we've got God on our side.
  9. it was in 2002, we finished 9-2 that year and 23rd or so in the BCS rankings. Best season we've had so far.
  10. If you saw the Sunshine Sports show, they talked about USF players in the pros and mentioned many of the guys but left out Anthony Henry. Terrible oversight-- he is clearly the most successful USF grad in the NFL to this point with Kawika moving up quickly.
  11. hmmmm...... did we lose a game or something? Let's let the coaches decide how to utilize our weapons properly to secure our victories, allow the program to continue to improve, and NOT give the next opponent to easy of a blue print on how to stop our team. In other words-- expect more playing time and wrinkles from C4 as time goes on. If you have a working blue print-- you don't throw it away just to appease some fans who want to see particular players get some star time. AS for C4 leaving the Bulls--- don't count on it. He can see we are a quality program that has a specific vision. We also are giving him all the opportunities in the world to compete for whatever position he desires. That's all he asked for and he came to USF understanding that we had brought in lots of new QB talent to compete with him for that role. The bottom line is C4 is not quite ready to run the offense. But he wants to play and the coaches want him out there too. I think everything is going according to plan, short of losing to PSU.
  12. If your team is for real, you have plenty of schedule to show that is the case right ahead of you. I do appreciate the kind sentiments toward our team though. Good luck-- that SOS thing may comein handy for us as well.
  13. USF 28 - 20 364 yards Peyton -- long bombs The defense rises to the occasion, stuffs their run and gets to Brohm. Green and Gold glasses sold separately. Consult your doctor before using this prediction in any betting scenario.
  14. Actually, Army had just broken their losing streak before our game with them. But the point is valid about what CJL coach speak generally sounds like.
  15. UCF fans seemed like pretty regular folk to me. I did see quite a few cuffed and removed from the premises though. The cops do not understand the meaning of home cooking-- so my guess is the removals were handled fairly. To me-- the key to this game was that we took away any run you had. Then you didn't run again-- except for a QB scramble. It made you one dimensional and we exercised ball control from that point forward. CJL pulled in the passing reigns for the most part-- we ran that ball non-stop. And it worked so why change it too much. Interesting game although it's rare for our fans to leave en mass like that in the third quarter. With the last score (31), the writing seemed to be on the wall though.
  16. Most of the WV fans I've seen post on the board have been very nice folks. My bosses boss at work has a BA from WV and his MBA from USF. Good people, good company, good conference. SO much less antagonistic compared to the CUSA brethren we left behind.
  17. Brad-- One other thing-- on the "Main Page" in the multimedia area, it does not link to the newer picture gallery--- just the older one that has some stuff from last year in it. Zonald-- I'll try to send you the "me only" pics when I get a chance via snapfish. Have you ever considered being a hand model?
  18. Thanks ET - I'll see what I can do. You may want to pin this announcement to remind folks about it.
  19. They are seated in section 131 and spilling over to 130. Visitor seating typically always starts in section 132 and moves around the corner and up. UL filled in almost the entire endzone and the top of the corner-- plus there were parts of crowd elsewhere throughout the stadium-- I estimate they brought about5K fans for the 2003 game (which we won in 2 OT). I may have 2 tickets available in section 133 but I don't know if I really want to sell them to a UCF fan. Some of them have been pretty rude on the message boards. I have tickets in section 133 (row V) as well as 235
  20. I can't believe someone would have the nerve to stuff a ballot box like this--- shameful I tell ya, just shameful.
  21. yes-- it's a private pay lot. If you intend to park and leave your car there, I will have to collect money from you for the lot owner. If you were parking over at the stadium, you would only be at our lot temporarily and I could let that slide. That's the agreement we have with the lot owner-- the Bull Backers monitor the lot for USF games.
