    I don't think UL overlooked USF at all. I think we just took it to them and took advantage of **** near everything that happened. That said, things could go bad in Miami and you know what ESPN will do if that happens.

    ps-- that doesn't justify the beating of someone for breaking the rule. Detain them if you must but don't tazer/club them.

    you can argue that it is part of the game day experience I can understand a student or fan wanting to rush the field, but bascally, it's against the rules of the stadium. There is a reason for that-- who knows if you are just enthusiastic or a nut job? Those student athletes deserve some level of protection or we end up having something like what happened in the past where a fan went up to an opposing teams player and got in their face, resulting in the player beating them down. Don't get me wrong-- I love the enthusiasm. I just am second guessing the need for the on field shenanigans anymore.

    thanks I was pulling for PSU today. Started out pretty bad but you turned it around against Northwestern. Didn't catch the end of the game-- did your D come back to life? They looked lousy in that first quarter/half.

    Someone mentioned in another thread that the Penn State faithful were dismissing this win. I find that very hard to believe-- must have been some of there more juvenile fans

    it is so cool to see our school scrolling along in the background and it the correct logo and everything maybe next time we play against a team that is hosting a gameday (it won't be us), they will be respectful enough to display our helmet with the other teams (Army game-- ugh) Jeebus-- they just said that "South Florida has never beaten a ranked team before tonight" on ESPNU. Ummmm--- Bowling Green anyone?

    If we give them a game at all, it legitimizes this win. I say screw that-- let's go for the jugular. It's the least we can do for our conference buddies-- go in there, kick some ass and end the whole "weak Big East BCS" BS. The Card fans (and rest of the conference) will be pulling/cheering for us-- no doubt about that. we just got to get er done

    yeah-- I think that is a terrible cheer. I makes your own victory sound empty. "Correctly Rated" would be better-- saying that we deserve a ranking ourselves.
