PSU did their job today, now we need Miami to get going against GT. Those 2 winning only helps when a voter looks at 3 losses and realizes who 2 of them were.
Jones cramped up with about 13 minutes left. I don't think he came back in - went to the soccer game then. Lots of missed passes and overthrows. We'll see if that settles down over the next couple games. Couldn't have been 1,000 people there. The new press configuration pushes the students 2 rows further away from the court - kind of a shame. Can't wait for the new scoreboards - the old ones are truly on their last leg. Once again there were ZERO students behind the basket next to the band and they would not let anyone move down there. They should be INVITING people to move down there when there's no students to give this team a little support. I hate to be so negative.
I also think Woolard was great and overall decent coverage for USF. Showing the video with Woolard sitting there was not a good idea. I wonder if they warned him prior to the show as to the content of the video.
A little research at ticketmaster and comparing availability to prior games at this point in the week, I would guess 30,000 announced - 27,000 attendance. Anybody else?
Don't forget USF vs. UConn for the championship today at noon. Unfortunately, Catch 47 has selected to show the replay at 9pm tonight. Anybody live in a market where this will be shown live so you can provide updates?
Sorry, I'm too lazy to search for this. For the Cincy game will the south lots open at 9am like usual or was this a game they may open earlier? Breakfast and drinks at 8am sounds mighty good.
