    Congrats again to the students - it was awesome. You guys seemed much more organized as the whole **** section was in tune with the same cheers and with HOT. Hopefully a lot of freshman attending their first game and they'll be back after that experience. BTW, how did the SG UCF tickets sell?

    Since USF can't sell many of those high priced booster club seats on the East Side Stands...why don't they just use less sections for boosters? KL, the problem is not in SELLING the seats. The problem is getting them to use the tickets. I understand those 2 sections on the 50 are basically sold - the tickets are just not used.

    The big donor seats on the east side looked less than 1/2 full. This drives me crazy just like that section at the dome behind the visiting team. The TV cameras and the main home crowd (west side) are looking right at the those sections that get all the no shows. Not sure what can be done about it if anything - just a shame. Probably the same corporate supporters that have gator seats also.

    I am with you on this one.  And CJL hedged a little in the interview after the game when he was asked that question by the reporter.  He said it wouldn't be fair to comment on that right now.  He wants to look at the film, yadda yadda.  Meaning to me, "not until I have time to personally break the news to Pat". CJL also said that PJ and MG both knew a week ago that PJ would start and MG would go in the second half. Why couldn't he say that to the media on Tuesday if everyone knew? He also said he decided to start PJ because of the "senior thing and all."

    Long snapper is a real problem - not too sure about the actual punts that got off either. Plus we got beat deep most times. Fortunately their QB was a great runner/scrambler and not very accurate on the long pass.

    Reminded me a lot of MB - I hope it turns out that way and we get a good 4 years. Unfortunately, if he is healthy, I think PJ gets the start again.

    I would guess they will announce 26,000 (17,000 season, 7,000 students/jr bulls and 2,000 singles sold). From the looks of it, only about 2/3 of the season seats were actually there so I would guess about 21,000 butts in seats. Students were rocking and didn't bail on the team when it did not look good.

    Except on change of posession. It appears if you run a punt return out of bounds or the unsuccessful 4th down play goes out of bounds, the clock starts with the play clock. Also offenses need to be ready to go at all times in case of a turnover - interception or fumble.

    Now I'm really confused. Watching the Fresno-Nevada game.... Guy catches a pass makes the first down and runs out of bounds. The game clock does not start with play clock which I thought the rule was when you made a first down even if you go out of bounds. Does anyone understand this?

    Wasn't really a factor in the outcome of any game last night. I think to calm everyone's fears, they should just institute the old rules during the last 2 or 3 minutes of each half.

    Is this a set weekly press conference or was it called for a special purpose? Either way, the team works too hard and the fans care too much about growing the program for CJL to act in this manner in a public forum. Sorry, but it was the totally wrong thing to do. If DW knew CJL was not going to participate in the proper fashion, they should have cancelled and just issued a statement as a professional courtesy to the reporters.

    I image WFTS will get a flood of calls from angry ND fans now that want to see their game in HD. Hope not, but may be another flip-flop tomorrow.

    Someone said SG bought student tickets in the endzone (120, 121?) - that would put the USF students right next to the UCF students - sounds like a recipe for disaster.

    If FIU gets up to MTSU for their game on Thursday, will it be televised in Tampa? I know I've seen them before on Sunshine or Fox.

    Latest track still has us getting the backside of the weather on Friday.  If they decide not to play on Saturday, I guess Sunday and Monday are viable options.

    If the game is cancelled, it looks like it would be impossible to reschedule. The only possible date would be December 2nd and McNeese will probably be in the playoffs that weekend. 11 game season?

    Question... With the BCS conferences, it's only possible for the Big 10 to have more than one undefeated team - correct? All other conferences have all teams playing each other or a championship game.

    I sent it in through the "report a bug" link.  They changed it on the results list but not on the hover over the iconic U.

    Yeah, you're probably right. At least the endzones should be a blank slate since the Bucs paint will be 2 weeks old and should be cut off with the mowers.
