Until we grow in popularity with in our own market, paying CJL millions of dollars will have to wait. The school already is paying more out of its budget for coaches than either UF or FSU. Most of the money for these 2 million dollar contracts come from shoe contracts, tv/radio shows etc. The only way to negotiate a good shoe, tv/radio contract for CJL is by demand. Both UF and FSU pay less than $400,000 of their head coaches salary, about 20%. We pay a much higher percentage .
