  1. If the NCAA makes them Join a conference to get the benefits then yes otherwise no. If they join a conference it will be the BE
  2. I really wish you guys were right, but I don't believe our offense is our biggest problem. If we had the Kansas City Cheifs offense we would have the same problem they have, which is the other team scoring more points. Our OC is not the one who throws or catches the pass. We have at least 6 drops every game and another 6 poorly thrown passes. I still believe that our biggest problem is we never cover anyone. And someone needs to tell the defense to use their arms (wrap up ) to make an effective tackle.
  3. Hall is a great running back and we have some highly touted young RB as well. Part of the running game success this year has to be attributed to a very experienced offensive line. We need to make sure to keep this stocked as well.
  4. Julmiste isn't the best QB in the world, no arguement here. His receivers on the other hand have dropped a lot of passes early in the game. I hate the excuse that the QB throws the ball to hard. When he takes something off the pass and it gets picked off and returned for a TD then what. I seem to remember in the early Bucs days everything was Doug Williams fault because he "threw the ball to hard". Well Washington didn't seem to have a problem with his velocity when they won the superbowl. Don't get me wrong PJ is not the answer for the future but right now he is our best option and everything that happens is not his fault. The WR are young as well and I think their future is very bright The transfer from Auburn is a very good QB and athlete so the competition for the QB position next year should really help. If we can shore up our defense we will be alright.
  5. Coach Mac. I would like to be among the first to thank Coach Mac., for the job he is doing with our basketball program. For over a year, coach, has been molding this group of young men into a team. Much like in the movie Hoosiers, he first needed to break them down and now is building a team. We had so many head cases during the Greenburg years and very little teamwork. Coach Mac took over one of the most difficut jobs in college sports. A team with very little fan support, no discipline, and a short time away from moving into the Big East. Have you every wondered why a team like Duke (without a bunch of flashy superstars) does well in the tournament almost every year, when teams like Cincy (with a lot of high flying flashy guys) only goes a round or two. Teamwork, thats the answer. Coach isn't afraid to make the hard decisions, like he was faced with last year. He could have let things go as they were and probably won a few more games but he was building for the future. At practice coach makes every person on the team responsible for everyone else, good or bad, you do it as a team. He has gone out and hired an assistant coach from the Northeast, who knows that area and has contacts, because he knows to be competitive in the big east we will need to recruit that area. Sorry this is so long, I am just a USF basketball fanatic. I love all USF sports, but when I went there in the early 80's b-ball was our main sports so it is my passion. Rest easy Bulls fan. Coach Mac has basketball on the right track for this year and the future. Go out to a game, you won't be dissapointed by the effort or the outcome. I predict we will finish somewhere between 14-14 to 20-8. Optimistic, I know, but it is the beginning of the season. Hop on the bandwagon now because in a few years there might not be much room Go Bulls!
  6. QB may have been hurting us, but the defense has been killing us.
  7. USF 28-10 318 SJ Green After last week, with all the drops, I am pretty sure the leading receiver will not be Bain. Bulls rebound for a nice win. Go Bulls!
  8. Anyone who has watched UL play this season would know they have a better than average chance of beating Miami. I watched Miami play GT in Atlanta and let me tell you they were average at best. I told the Miami fans then and I will tell this board now that not only do I think UL will beat Miami I wouldn't be shocked if UL wins by 10 or more. To answer the original question. There is no doubt that UL will be in a BCS game if they go undefeated. In my opinion an undefeated season with a win over the #3 team would warrant a title shot if there was only one other undefeated team. I know this would not happen, because an unfair system is in place. You might think I am full of crap but I follow college sports very close and Louisville will win.
  9. It seems to me that their are far more "The sky is falling" post when we lose than OMG were going 10-1 post when we win. Just an observation.
  10. There really is no reason to give Gachette much playing time, as none of the active QB's on the team will probably be the starter next year. It would be wasting the rest of the season to have another QB going through the natural growing pains that a fresh college QB goes through. I think PJ has developed at a fairly normal pace for a college QB with less than 10 games of real playing time. If we want any chance at 6 or 7 wins and a possible bowl game (which will be a challenge at this point with any QB) PJ is our best chance.
