  1. If he plays it smart he won’t elaborate too much cause there really is nothing to say that will help. Only way you can spin it is to say the AAC was very tough and USF just got beat by better teams on the schedule. Point out the key injuries.
  2. I know but right now winning is just not realistic. Mentally this program is lost right now and it will be a few years before you see any winning. Just being honest. The best we can hope for right now is for the IPF to at least have ground breaking before we start next season. Then if we continue this losing, USF can focus on making a coaching change. Maybe USF boosters will spend money for a buy out after this season but I seriously doubt it. I would be shocked if that did happen.
  3. The simple answer is no. My argument is that USF can’t afford to buy out the coaching staff and build the IPF. Of all the schools that need a IPF it is USF that needs it the most. Reason being that we live in the Lightning capital of the world. So for me it is more of a safety reason. Recruits like nice things.
  4. Lol it is not that. It was basically the bad blocking by this USF team made this offense terrible. Also think the WRs had a bad year too as there were too many drops earlier this season. Add to it that our Senior QB goes down and you end up with a disaster for the season. CCS can’t ever let this happen again next season or his is pretty much gone.
  5. Hell yes! Man! All this talk about shutting down the program that LRS put a lot into is wack! When you see programs like Charlotte, UAB, FIU, App St, Georgia St, Troy, Georgia Southern battle it out there is no way USF throwing in the towel and shutting down football.
  6. Well said. Think the money needs to go towards the IDF for now. Then next season I think the buyout could happen if CCS struggles again.
  7. lol I don’t blame you. As many fans gave up hope too. We just got to ride this storm out probably one more season.
  8. Exactly! He also tried to implement his Stanford offense and failed. He had to go back to his HS coach to save his career at USF. He ended up being a big *****. Running up the score on ECU and UCF to the point where both coaches wanted to kick his little ass after the game. I guess he thought he was Steve spurrier or something. I didn’t mean to turn this into a hate CWT thread but tired of all the USF fans living in the past with CJL and CWT. F that noise!! Life is too short to live in the past. Go Bulls!
  9. Lol whatever. I’m just telling you all the reality and you want to keep living in the past. The reality is that we can’t buy out CCS rn. We need to focus on getting the IPF built. I’m willing to sit through one more season of CCS and KB. It is just the best move we can do right now with the situation we are in. Rock bottom was with CWT and Holtz so I’m sure we can make it through one more season. Stop your crying and get over it. It is not as bad as the chicken littles make it out to be. CWT is the coach that will get his ass handed to them in the Miami Beach Bowl by WKU. He abandoned the program before USF beat So Carolina. You want to give him full credit for that go ahead. He still FN blew it against Temple when USF was the better team that season. So stop making it out like CWT was the best thing since sliced bread. At least FN CCS won some bowl games and beat top 25 teams. CWT lacks that.
  10. There is no way to defend getting blown out at home by McNeese St. I don’t care if we had Leavitt’s 1997 team. No excuse! Especially after all that get on the FN bus hype during off season. Half the fans walked out before halftime cussing at all that CWT hype. The attendance was good for that game and they never came back after that game. Check the attendance figures and USF hit all time lows under CWT era. We made McNeese St look like Wisconsin
  11. You want to sit through the McNeese St again ? Not me! No thanks! One thing is losing to top 25 teams but when you get blown out by McNeese St that is pretty much rock bottom for me
  12. Lol. Sometimes the truth hurts. Peeps are good a ******** but don’t offer realistic solutions. Think they see FSU buy out CWT and expect USF can do the same. Then they threaten to not support USF and that is probably the worse thing for the program. I will keep on saying that both Holtz & CWT had USF at rock bottom. Look up the attendance during those seasons and I think USF average was in low 20k
  13. Think some changes will happen but not firing CCS or KB. Special teams needs some changes. AAC was very tough this season and we still won 4 games. We are no way near rock bottom. CWT and Holtz were rock bottom.
  14. Yup pretty much sums it up. The first two seasons under CWT were tough to get through. He left USF high & dry before QF’s senior season after USF was very patient with his first two seasons. He really got Oregon too by bolting so quick for the FSU job. Karma caught up to him at FSU. His dream job ended up being a dumpster fire. Losing to McNeese St like he did is still one of the worst losses in USF history. That set the program back
  15. Talking about this season. USF has been able to handle the bad teams such as ECU, UConn etc. The team struggle with decent teams that have a winning record. Navy, Wisconsin, Temple, Memphis, SMU, Cincy even though USF almost pulled the upset. GaTech was a game that the officials messed up in the end. So I’m saying USF was the better team.
  16. And when I mention men’s hoops I may have put them in that list prematurely. I just feel that the best has yet to come with men’s hoops under CBG. He is only in year 3 that was a total rebuild job during his first season. USF hoops now has very nice facilities and that is only gonna help this program get better. This year will be challenging with the key players that we already lost but I see this season playing out like the women’s team last season. They battled hard through injuries and now the women are looking better than ever this season. I won’t be surprised to see men’s hoops have a great season next year with everyone back and healthy
  17. Temple may have been one of the worse games for me this season. The defense played well only to have the offense not show any life. The 2-10 CWT season was the worse for me. Losing that opening game against McNeese St is to me the lowest we have ever been. Happy USF dominated the bad teams on the schedule this season. Beating BYU on homecoming was fun. I sat there much tougher seasons than this one
  18. Lol put it this way. I wouldn’t bet on it. However got to have something to work with as I planing to travel to that game. Think USF would be wise to stick with this coaching staff. The only bad loss that we had was at GT and that game was decided by bad officiating. USF was one play away from beating Cincy which would have been USF first top 25 win since Skip Holtz. So I think they deserve one more chance next season.
  19. Positives for USF. Women’s hoops, men’s hoops, men’s golf, women’s tennis, women’s soccer, men’s hockey, Softball. You see?? USF is not as bad as many may think. Football will eventually come back around so I’m not worried
  20. That is the best way to look at it. Wasn’t that long ago that USF was even in a worse position than now. We lost to bad teams and only won 2 games with CWT. Then the turn around happened before we knew it. So next season I’m not gonna be surprised if this offense starts scoring 30 to 40 pts a game with KB second season.
  21. Lol think we will have people talk up USF in the off season as the IPF should become a reality. The spring game might showcase how far the USF offense has come under KB. Then as we get closer to the game at Texas I’m sure the media will start mentioning the chance for revenge with CCS against the school that fired him. College football is strange in that way so I won’t be surprised if USF stuns Texas with CCS. If he is not the coach then there is no way in hell that USF beats Texas. So I’m willing to give CCS one more chance next season. If he still has the losing issues it will be time to let him go.
  22. Yup I agree. If we beat Texas next season, I think that will save CCS and rejuvenate the fan base.
