  1. I took the moneyline in the PSU game, I wish they would have tasered the UM fans.
  2. I agree but for marginal fans it does provide an excuse.
  3. Florida has more to offer than many other areas, I do not think it is possible to argue that. Also an urban campus provides even more distraction, a person in Tampa has more options than your average land grant in the middle of BFE. Does it not?
  4. Who knows, I just doubt that they will show up in mass(Florida just seems to provide so much for people to do that many events are set up for failure). I pray that they do but prior experience tells me they will not, now if we had an OCS to show the game in... ;D
  5. What ??? How does leading in most categories become an advantage for the other team?
  6. I thought they were the welcoming committee ???
  7. Let me get this straight (from their standpoint): We cannot pass they can shut down the pass We can run they cannot plug holes or tackle. So they will shut us down by defending our weakness and allowing our strength?
  8. I am not sure if it is allowed or not but there have been plenty of times waiting for big games, tent city, and for the 9-2 2002 football squad where someone I know or I had a beer (even nickleback had some beers before one of the Florida games.) The only problems I ever saw were for underage drinking but like I said that does not mean there is permission.
  9. I just looked at a few and I believe he claims that it would be up to the administration, not that students could simply storm in spite of them.
  10. Where are these posters claiming a "right" to storm the field?
  11. I think the confusion lies in treating the Louisville game as a rule, it appears a USF official gave an indirect okay following the game therefore you would be able to storm the field. That would not mean you would be able to storm the field just because it was our stadium but because we decided you could (see Clemson) but we could just as easily decide that you cannot (see Florida). Or we could be pragmatic and decide that we were not going to let you storm the field but we would not Rodney King you either (perhaps a ticket as you exit?) Yes our stadium would be our rules and not the TSA's but it would be our bill as well. At some point it will be better for us to have our own stadium or at least restructure this deal (see Pittsburgh) but for now I will count on the fact that we have a cost benefit analysis well prepared.
  12. I assume running through the pepper spray, as much as I disagree with people defending property with pure force it does not appear that one could argue that it is not affective.
  13. If you are free to do as you please you do not need to pay attention to signs.
  14. I give you logic, you give me "I am rubber you're glue". Yet I am the one who needs a clue?
  15. 1) PSU had the exact same situation we did except more people went onto the field following their game (note: that guy at every PSU game with the funny mask did not belong on the field) 2) When trying to say people cannot enjoy an "arduous" football game without other factors it's best not to discuss how an OCS would not be pretty enough for you. Life would be lost without a pirate ship. 3) Most everyone knows that we cannot afford a campus stadium and I do not think anyone is seriously arguing that we should have a new stadium so that we can storm the field. That does not mean that Ray Jay is the most ideal situation and that we are lucky to be there.
  16. Pay no attention to the fact that his premise is false.
