As bad as it was, it still was not a conference game. Defense needs to shore up their problem areas and the qbs must get back to basics. They have got to hit the open man. Plenty of them there this past weekend.

Think we need to go back to the 30s and play without a qb altogether. Just a straight snap to one of our RBs. If they have to throw, I'm sure they can't do worse then 2 for 10. Paper today said that Julmiste is the starter for Sat. I hope all you Banks haters are happy. He really did do a much better job on sat against USC. Don't get me wrong, i am not happy with Banks however the way you all talk Banks did horrible and Julmiste didn't. Face it: we don't have a qb. Neither one can throw the long ball, therefore the defense is stacking the box and playing press coverage. I would. As good as our o-line is playing you can't run against 8 in the box. If our coaching staff is any good they will really need to work their butts off to build the confidence of our qbs.

You all are so quick to bash Ronnie, Pat went 2-10 with a horrible pass to a wide open receiver. Remember that you just might get for what you wish for.

Its amazing the new tone that is coming from this board after only 2 games. We were all fired up and excited about the season. Now we are all on suicide alert. We knew about our short coming at QB before the season. We complained about the play calling last year. We just seemed to forget about it during the winter months. I can only hope that we can correct and start winning. If we don't this board will get down right ugly.

Everyone boo-hooed Canalas. Now he is running the show at ASU (I think). Blackwell made this offense run because it was against weaker talent and he was extremely mobile. If you remember in big games (Arkansas, Kentucky, Oklahoma) our offense did not do well. Granted we have improved our talent, but the scheme did not do well.

This should be tacked up on every players locker!

Their rule is that you DO lose your position due to an injury. You have to work yourself back up the depth chart.

A penalty led to their 1st TD, we had them stopped and then we hit their punter. How stupid. Next play we are down 7-0. This type of junk happened last year and the coaches haven't changed the pattern this year.

It sounds like you are already giving up on this season. It is only 1 lose and to a pretty good team.

Next week will tell if it is to be a long season. TCU got hammered and looked porous. That is just what our offense needs.

Julmiste did no better. We can't throw long. It seemed to me that all our passes were the 4 to 5 yd variaty. Banks numbers were not that bad something like 12-20 but for only 70 or so yards. We can't seem to stretch the field vertically. If we can't do that then we are toast. Plus we can't put all the blame (well most of it) on the offense. Listening to the game it seemed like their receivers were behind our DBs the entire evening. The kid threw for over 300yds.

My question is do you all think we have more depth? I remember last year against Alabama and we got gassed late in the game. USC is a big running team. will we have enough people to keep playing against them, especially if our offense is anemic.

Got to tour it today. I couldn't keep the smile off my face. That weightlifting room is just awesome. Coaches offices are so sweet. It will definitely help with recruiting - no doubt about it.

My son had his 1st workout yesterday and said that he died and went to heaven. He told me that it is beyond description and its not even 100% complete. Can't wait to see it myself!!!
