    When Chris Simms got the starting job with the Bucs CBS (?) showed a Matt Simms highlight reeel and it was impressive. I am sure he is a good QB no matter what the ranking, but I am glad that USF got Voss.

    They will be back, in fact I bet at least one of them reads this post and chuckles because they have never left. Where else can you get this kind of USF news/conversation. A few chuckle heads cannot drive off true Bulls fans. Maybe they prefer to stay anonymous to avoid rehashing the same old arguments, but they are here or will be back sometime during the football season.

    The thing is, “If they’re all equal" now then I would have to say that MG is way ahead. PJ has had three years to learn the offense and MG only one. If things are "“all equal" that tells me that MG has more talant and will catch and surpass PJ in half a year or less. I really get the impression that this is meant to be a motivating comment for MG.

    These are the kind of kids that buit the program. I hope we are not so obsessed with the size of the body that we ignore the size of the heart. You are probably right though because it seems that we are going to the tapemeasure recruiting/playing time model.

    I cannot blame either of them for going on hiatus, but if they are anything like me they operate under a nom de plum ocassionaly. How can you stay out of some of these inane conversations.     E.T. you may be onto something. In that quote it sounds as if Leavitt is trying to inspire (Grothe) someone to beat out PJ. It sounds to me as if PJ is relagated to being the "if all else fails' QB. I wonder when CJL is going to face the fact that its not every QBs fault that they cannot run this offense. Its suffering design flaws. It can work if all the planets align or if you totally outman an opponent, but the problem is that they only happens once or twice per year. Groth - EEEEE !!! DEEE - FENSE !!!

    Why start KN? First: General scholarship fund: Wouldn't it be better to give money directly to the University or Athletics? Secondly: What does the Alumni Association do with its funds? Homecoming? Keep in mind this is coming from a guy that was (ever so briefly) on the Pinellas Board and USF Alumni Involvement and Services Committee. I cannot remember where the money goes.
