  1. I have this bad feeling that USF will only win two more games this year. Rust for Rutgers for an L. Maybe a win at Syracuse and at home with Cincinnati. Losses to UConn and W. Virginia. I hope I'm wrong. Kizarvexis
  2. CJL basically said he doesn't like a 1 week bye and now he has a two week bye. But they'll work hard and insert your coach-speak here. Kizarvexis
  3. I don't know where they are getting that info. It is a cat 4 with 145 mph winds, has tropical storm force winds out 260 miles from the center and hurricane force winds at 90 miles according to the NOAA website. At 5 am they reported two eye walls, one at 4 NM and one 40 NM. http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/text/refresh/MIATCPAT4+shtml/201442.shtml for the wind speeds and range. (Public advisory #21) http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/text/refresh/MIATCDAT4+shtml/200836.shtml for the two eye walls (Discussion #20) Kizarvexis
  4. From the Tampa Tribune. (I added the bolding) Maybe WVA is looking for a lucky bye week when they need it for their starting QB? Kizarvexis
  5. How about Sat. Oct 22nd? The Hurricane has slowed down. Kizarvexis
  6. Well the 11pm for Monday, shows the 8pm Saturday position to be almost due south of Tampa. Considering it is expected to be a Cat 2 or 3 Hurricane by then, IF it stays on the expected track, then Tampa will see at least rain bands for the game. Kizarvexis
  7. The 5pm update for Tropical Storm Wilma shows a turn towards Florida around Cuba on Friday or Saturday. That would mean that the edges of then expected Hurricane Wilma would reach Tampa around game time. The game might go on, but WVA might have to fly out of Orlando to get home. Remember though, these are the 5 day projections, which can be off by hundreds of miles. So it might not affect Tampa at all. Kizarvexis
  8. I know. That is why I added the comment I did. I saw this thread with the 5pm pic right before eleven. So I was going to add the 11pm pic, but the pic in this thread changed instead. Kizarvexis
  9. The 11pm track is further west than the 5pm track you posted earlier. The western Gulf coast may eat this one. Kizarvexis
  10. USF lost 17-31 at Pitt (a winnable game for USF if the offense plays just ok) UCF lost 31-52 at So. Miss (haven't seen or read about the game) FSU lost at Virginia 21-26 UF lost at #10 LSU 17-21 FIU lost at home to N. Texas 10-13 FAU lost at home to MTSU 14-35 FAMU lost at #22 S. Carolina St. 3-49 Miami won at Temple (surprise) 34-3 BCC won at Savannah State 56-13 Kizarvexis
  11. Why not just post all of the articles in one thread titled, 'Bulls vs Pitt recap articles'? Kizarvexis
  12. If I can get some free or almost free tickets, then I'll be there with the kids. Otherwise, it's not in the current household budget. Kizarvexis
  13. Actually, I just quoted the stats on USF's road win percentages. I didn't say anything about it being bad or good. I guess it is a 'glass half full' or 'glass half empty' thing for you then? Here is all the stats for you to use to show we suck on the road or that we don't. Home       Year   Away 4-3 (57.1%)  1997  1-3 (25%) 6-1 (85.7%)  1998  2-2 (50%) 6-1 (85.7%)  1999  1-3 (25%) 6-0 (100%)  2000  1-4 (20%) 22-5 (81.5%) I-AA   5-12 (29.4%) Home       Year   Away 7-0 (100%)   2001  1-3 (25%) 6-0 (100%)   2002  3-2 (60%) 4-2 (66.7%)  2003  3-2 (60%)  5-3 in C-USA 62.5% 2-4 (33.3%)  2004  2-3 (40%)  3-5 in C-USA 37.5% 3-0 (100%)   2005  0-3 (0%)   1-1 in Big East 50% 22-6 (78.6%) I-A   9-13 (40.9%) 44-11 (80%) all time  14-25 (35.9%) USF was 8-8 or 50% in C-USA and is 1-1 or 50% in the Big East conference play. Kizarvexis
  14. That was a nail on the head post for the emotional swings on this board. Kizarvexis
  15. Fireman and BullsGrad95 are more eloquent than I and I agree with what they have said. Kizarvexis
  16. I don't know. Top 25 WVA at home - I'm not sure USF will be able to pass enough at home to keep this season's home win streak going. I'm thinking this is a loss. At Rutgers - The Bulls are 0-3 on the road and the QB play has jump started the other team every time. I think Rutgers has enough to beat the Bulls, unless the Bull's O DRASTICALLY improves. I'm thinking this is a loss. At Syracuse - The Bulls are 0-3 on the road and the QB play has jump started the other team every time. I think Syracuse could be beat with just a little O improvement. I'm thinking this is a win, if the O improves. Cincinnati at home - The Bulls should be able to pull this out as a win at home. At UConn - The Bulls are 0-3 on the road and the QB play has jump started the other team every time. I think UConn has enough to beat the Bulls, unless the Bull's O DRASTICALLY improves. I'm thinking this is a loss. So, 5-6 for the season. Realistically, we could go 3-8 or 6-5. Question is, will a QB step up next year, if one doesn't this year? And will the WR catch any colds this winter? Kizarvexis
  17. Yep, and unless one of the QB's steps up and the WR start catching what is thrown at them, the Bulls will struggle to win. It's looking like the road Bulls will mostly lose and the home Bulls will mostly win, so 5-6 is the probable season record unless something changes. Kizarvexis
  18. USF had 7 penalties for 54 yards and Pitt had 5 for 51 yards. Average so far for the season, including the Pitt game. 8.33 for 65.83 yards per game for USF (down a third of a penalty and 2+ yds per game) 8.33 for 70.4 yards per game for our opponents (down a two thirds of a penalty and 3 yds per game) Here are the last 4 seasons for comparison. 2004 - 9.6 for 82.5 yds per game 2003 - 9.4 for 83 yds per game 2002 - 11.6 for 98.7 yds per game (school record) 2001 - 10 for 88 yds per game Kizarvexis
  19. USF has an all time road win percentage of 35.9% (14-25). During the I-AA years ('97-'00), USF's road win percentage was 29.4% (5-12). Since turning I-A ('01-'05), USF is 40.9% (9-13). This season USF is 0-3 or 0%. Kizarvexis
  20. So forcing them to wear a uniform they don't like will make them play better? Kizarvexis
  21. What are your thoughts on the BE and opponent games this week and how they will affect USF? Rutgers @Syracuse 12pm #7 Miami @Temple 1pm FAMU @#22 @S. Carolina St. 1:30pm #19 Louisville @#26 W. Virginia 3:30pm #8 Penn St @ Michigan 3:30pm UCONN @Cincinnati 4pm UCF @So. Miss 7pm Kizarvexis
  22. League Fines Barber $30,000 I'm surprised. I thought the league would make an example of Ronde because he hit an official, inadvertently or not. Kizarvexis
  23. If the Bucs decide that DRube is the guy to try and return kicks during a game, they can grab him off the Detroit practice squad by activating him to the Bucs 53 man roster. Kizarvexis
