  1. Oh, ok then. 8 out of 22 is better than what I thought. :-[
  2. So according to them... Penn St. - Win 32-30 FAMU win, who expects a I-A team to lose to I-AA (Or Div II) UCF - Win 31-19 Louisville - Lose 28-22 Miami - Lose 31-30 Pitt - Win 26-21 Rutgers - Win 38-21 Syracuse - Win 37-10 Cincinnati - Win 42-14 So 7-2... ...and in the future based on stats up to this week... UConn - Win 30-21 WVa - Lose 29-21 For an 8-3 total. The site came close or was right there on some of USF's margin of victory, but predicted 3 games differently. Just reinforces the 'you have to play the game' cliches.
  3. So he accounts for 18 of the 22 points received by USF meaning that only 1-4 other writers think USF is in the Top 25.
  4. Sounds like it is time for the flip. Go Bulls! Beat the Cavaliers!
  5. Well, first and foremost, root for the Bulls to win @UConn and beat WVa. Some of these are tall orders, but root for... (7-3) UF to beat (7-3) FSU (8-2) Georgia to beat (7-3) Ga Tech (4-6) Hawaii to beat (8-3) Wisconsin (5-5) Kansas to beat (7-3) Iowa St (6-4) Nebraska to beat (7-3) Colorado (4-6) Oklahoma St to beat (6-4) Oklahoma (6-3) La Tech to beat (8-3) Boise St and (8-3) UCF to lose the C-USA championship Boston College, Michigan, Clemson, Iowa, S. Carolina, and Northwestern are all idle for the rest of the year. Go Bulls! Skunk UConn!

  7. Cool, maybe I can get my saturdy job to put it up on the big screen TVs. The managers are Bulls and Bucs fans. Kizarvexis (No, it's not at a sports bar.)
  8. That and the off hand ref to losing to UConn in the middle of the post after you said Pitt would go over USF threw me off. In that scenario, Pitt would go no matter how high we are ranked. The BE provision for selecting a team that is ranked 5 above the other team was removed for this year. BTW, that would be a real BE and BCS nightmare. 6-5 Pitt going to a BCS bowl as the BE co-champ. 9. There is one in the St. Pete Times, but I can't find it online to link here.
  10. There's a small pic in the paper, but I couldn't find it online. It was referenced WTSP-Ch. 10, so it must have been from the post game interviews. I want to know where to buy one!
  11. #5 Penn St. @ Michigan St. - Won 31-22 to become Big Ten co-champs FAMU vs BCC in FL Classic - Won 26-23 in OT UCF @Rice - come from behind win 31-28 to become C-USA East Champs #18 Louisville - idle #3 Miami vs Ga Tech - Lost 14-10 to unranked Tech Pitt - idle Rutgers - idle Syracuse @The Conference of Notre Dame - Lost 34-10 Cincinnati - Lost to your USF Bulls 31-16 UConn - idle W. Virginia - idle Up next 10-1 Penn St. - BCS Bowl game 6-5 FAMU - celebrating win over rival 8-3 UCF - C-USA Championship 7-2 Louisville - Syracuse 8-2 Miami - Virginia 5-5 Pitt - @W. Virginia 6-4 Rutgers - Cincinnati 1-9 Syracuse - @Louisville 4-6 Cincinnati - @Rutgers 4-5 UConn - Your USF Bulls 8-1 W. Virginia - Pitt UConn is dangerous at 4-5 as they need to win out over USF and Louisville to become bowl eligible.
  12. The St. Pete Times finally gets a Bulls article as the lead article in their college sports section of the Sunday paper. ;D
  13. Well if USF doesn't want to pony up the money, how about getting a local business to do it and put their logo on the sidelines where the C-USA name used to go? Kizarvexis
  14. 21-20 Fresno in the 3rd USC is doing their 2nd half thing.
  15. That's good for USF, but doesn't help them win the games. So we shouldn't get too excited that he picked the Bulls to win out. Yes, get excited over the press, but... GO Bulls! Beat UConn! Kizarvexis
  16. What position does Lee Corso play for USF? Kizarvexis
  17. Ok, the Sunday after Thanksgiving is the last Bucs home game until Christmas Eve. Do you think the Bulls can get the field all done up for the WVa game, if USF beats UConn to force a 'title' game? The Bucs would have 20 days to reset back to the Bucs field paint. What do you think? Kizarvexis
  18. Every game from mid September on has been the biggest game in USF history. Kizarvexis
  19. The coldest ever USF game was at Memphis on 11/29/03. It was 46 degrees. USF has played in two games below 50 and is 2-0 in those games. Kizarvexis
  20. Who thought unranked Ga Tech would beat #3 Miami in Miami? Granted Pitt beating WVa is not likely, but with Pitt at 5-5, they either win on Thanksgiving or stay home. Kizarvexis
  21. Nope. If Pitt beats WVa and USF beats UConn and WVA, then USF is the BE champ. In the scenario above... USF would be 6-1 in conf Pitt would be 5-2 in conf over WVA who would also be 5-2 in conf and would have lost to Pitt. Your scenario only works if Pitt beats WVa and USF loses to UConn and beats WVa. (Lou could be added as well if they beat Syr and UConn as they are 3-2 now.) Kizarvexis
