    I talked to Johhnie yesterday in the gym and he said that he will more than likely be redshirting in the fall. Too bad for us this year, but he will be here when we break into the Big East.

    MikeG you said exactly what I have been thinking. Unless the O really improves over the summer every game will be a close one. I wouldnt be suprised if we do run the ball a lot. Especially with the boys we have coming in. Our Defense will definitely be our strong suit so if the O can put up 21 -24 points a game we will be fine. If not then every game will be close in the fourth.

    I hope it is not held in Tampa for the same reason the Sheriff brought up. It would only help them in recruiting in our home territory. I bet that it goes to Charlotte or Jville with Char being the favorite due to the fact it is in the middle of ACC country.

    I think attendance will be fine. Everyone I talked to is pumped about the game and will be in attendance. They like the idea of a top team coming to our house and it being the only game on at the time.

    Yeah, I drove by today for the first time in a couple weeks and the place is looking good. They were out painting the covered walkway leading into the place.

    Nebraska will never be the top dog again in my opinion. Besides the in state talent and some other midwest states, who else would really want to go to Nebraska. No offense to the state or the people of Nebraska, but it isnt a very appealing state aesthetically or weather wise.

    Excellent comments Bullywak. Im sure Danny is probably a pretty quick guy out of cuts also. Actually the Sheriff, Reaper, and myself met Danny after the spring game. He was a pretty cool guy. I'll def be pulling for him just like I was for his bro.

    Who pissed in Sarah's cheerios is what I'm wondering. Telling one of your own fans to shut up when they are riling the opposing team is now on my list for stupidest things ive heard done. That would be like Swifty or Leather telling us to shut up when we are razzing the other team. Why wouldnt you want your opponent losing focus, getting pissed off, etc. Boy we are in for some real trouble on the road. If we cant focus when the opponent is getting razzed, then what are our girls going to do when they are the ones getting razzed ?

    Good Find man. I think the article is wrong in saying that he is not predicted to be drafted. Everything that I have heard and read has him around a 3rd or 4th rd pick.

    Mens soccer inked the 10th ranked recruiting class in 2003 and this years class looks just as good. The team should be stacked next year. It will be the 3rd year for our head coach which means most of the players here now were recruited by him.

    Turkey day is more of a family day and I know you find yourself watching football that day.

    If the game does move it will be played sometime in the afternoon. Why? ESPN is owned by the same company that owns ABC, televising FSU-UM, and would not put the games on competing against one another on a holiday. They will have us play during the day so that they can make the most $ out of commercials on both of the networks. When you are the only game being played at that time on the opening weekend of football people are going to watch no matter whose playing. I really don't like weekday games, but at this point in time we need the money and the exposure. Recruits will definitely notice us if we are the only game on at that time of the day and we beat Pitt.
